2 NEWS & EVENTS SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM We welcome: Oliver David Petrie, son of Jedediah & Corinne Petrie, who was baptized on September 30. HOSTS AND WINE FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER are given in honor and memory of the Living & Deceased Members of the Christian Mothers and Ladies Sodality. Thank you for your generosity. The month of October is RESPECT LIFE MONTH and the Christian Concerns Committee is again sponsoring the Change For Life Campaign. We ask that you take a bottle from the baby buggy to fill with loose change or cash during the month of October. This year your financial gifts will go to Mothers and Unborn Babies of Calumet County, Elizabeth Ministries, and The Gathering Place in Reedsville. ROSARY IN OCTOBER! Reedsville Knights of Columbus members will be leading the Rosary before all Sunday Masses during the month of October one half hour before Mass begins. Please join us in this devotion to Mary during this time. Mrs. Pat Schuh will continue her recitation before the Saturday Mass. FELLOWSHIP SUNDAY is given in memory of Robert & Alice Sheehy. Thank you Greg & Debbie Sheehy for your kindness. DONATIONS OF CHURCH ITEMS FOR 2019: To relieve the church of the cost of these items, we accept monetary donations in memory of your loved ones who have passed away. The monthly donation for Missalettes is $225, Hosts and Wine is $200, and Fellowship Sunday is $100. Please contact the parish office about your donation and help support the church. Mark your calendar and plan to attend with family, friends and neighbors. CHRISTIAN MOTHERS & LADIES SODALITY 42 nd ANNUAL BAZAAR & CRAFT SHOW The Bazaar consists of craft vendors, fresh homemade pies, bakery sale, salad luncheon and raffle. When: Saturday, November 3 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Where: Holy Family Parish Social Hall & Narthex Come one, come all, for lunch, shopping and conversation. Proceeds go to the Parish, Faith Formation, School, kitchen supplies plus other causes. **Members and fellow parishioners, please call to sign up for pies, other bakery, and salad items you wish to donate (needed on November 3 by 8:30 AM). Bakers, please bring your pies and bakery items in non-returnable foil pans. This event is scheduled for Friday evening on October 19, 2018 at Cobblestone Creek in Brillion! As you know this is one of Holy Family Catholic School s biggest fundraisers!! To all the "crafty" people of our parish, we are looking for handmade, new, or antique items to be donated for the auction. What's your thing? Do you make quilts, crochet or knit, make jewelry, construct wood furniture, make artificial flower arrangements, etc.? Whatever talents you possess, we would like to display them for the auction at this most important fundraiser. Not crafty or short on time? We are also accepting cash donations, Scrip, sporting event tickets, etc. Be creative! The entire parish community is invited to participate in this Mass, both the sick and the aged, and also the faithful who enjoy the gift of health whose presence is a sign of prayerful support.
