2 NEWS & EVENTS ECUMENICAL THANKSGIVING SERVICE will be held at Peace of Evangelical and Reformed Church, located at 181 Main St, Potter, at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 22. Please share non-perishable food and/or a monetary gift with those who are in need this year. The St. Vincent de Paul food pantry will be the recipient of your generous gift. THANKSGIVING DAY MASS at Holy Family Parish will be at 9:00 AM. Please bring a donation for our St. Vincent de Paul food pantry as we share God s gifts. All donations are greatly appreciated. The monetary collection at Mass will be for the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry as well. BAPTISM PREPARATION CLASS for parents who are expecting a baby, or recently had their baby, are generally offered each month. A Baptism Preparation Class is required for all first time parents, but experienced parents are also invited to attend. To sign up to take the class and/ or to meet with the Baptism Coordinator to receive a Baptism Preparation Folder - which is required for all parents please fill out a 2018 Baptism Parent Preparation Information Form found in a container in the narthex. You can leave it in the container, or drop it off at the parish office. The next class is November 25 at 9: DISASTER RELIEF: Our prayers go out to all those who have experienced the devastation of Hurricane Florence and Hurricane Michael. While emergency outreach was immediate, we know the road to recovery and the rebuilding of communities will be long and additional support will be needed. To make a donation to the Disaster Relief online, visit Click on Make A Gift and choose 2018 Disaster Relief Collection or send check to: Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Green Bay, Inc., PO BOX Green Bay, WI BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE: During the month of November, the Book of Remembrance is placed in the narthex. All are invited to enter the names of loved ones and friends who have died. Names entered can be anyone you want to remember in this special way and do not have to be members of the Parish. GIVING TREES: The opportunity for everyone to help the needy this Christmas through the giving trees is here. The trees in the narthex have tags of much needed items for Patrick s Patches. Please take a tag from the tree, buy the gift and return it unwrapped with the tags by December 2. We will sort the gifts and distribute them to families in our area who can use some help before Christmas. Thank you for your generosity! MISSALETTES FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER are in memory of Frank Duffeck. Thank you Lynn Duffeck for your generosity. DONATIONS OF CHURCH ITEMS FOR 2019: To relieve the parish of the cost of these items, we accept monetary donations in memory of your loved ones. The monthly donation for Missalettes is $225, Hosts and Wine is $200, and Fellowship Sunday is $100. Please contact the parish office about your donation and help support the parish. WEEKDAY MASS INTENTIONS: Currently there are some openings for Mass intentions during the week this year. Weekend Masses for the year 2019 are filling up quickly. Mass intentions can be scheduled a year in advance from the current date. 3 HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC SCHOOL: As the Thanksgiving season approaches, it is a great time to thank God for all of His goodness that He provides for us each and every day. One way to practice our faith and be disciples of Jesus is to provide for those in need. The students are helping to fill the shelves of the St. Vincent depaul food pantry this holiday season by donating some much needed items. Father will bless these items during our school mass on Thursday, November 15 (all are welcome to attend). EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR PARISH ST. PETER the FISHERMAN Council of Catholic Women is holding their annual Holiday Fiesta (3201 Mishicot Rd, Two Rivers) on November 18 from 8:30 1:00 PM. Buy your homemade holiday treats! Enjoy a bowl of chili or hamburger with dessert and beverage. Silent auction and children s raffle also available. THE PRIESTS LIVE IN CONCERT: Enjoy sacred music, traditional Irish songs and Christmas favorites by The Priests on November 21 at 7:30 PM on the Weidner Center stage. Tickets are available by calling or in person at the Ticket Star Box office located at the Resch Center (1901 S.
