2 NEWS & EVENTS SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM We welcome: Maximilian James Pakala Jr., Son of Maximilian & Amanda Pakala, who was baptized on June 10. NEW MEMBER Let us all open our hearts to welcome: Christine Hammer as she becomes a new member of Holy Family Parish. FR. TIMOTHY S FAREWELL POTLUCK is changed to Saturday, June 30 at 5:30 PM. Hamburgers, brats and hot dogs will be provided. Bring a dish to share. Please RSVP by Monday, June 25 to the parish office. JUST A REMINDER: Due to privacy regulations, the parish is not automatically notified when you or your loved one is admitted to the hospital/health care facility. Please remember to ask staff to notify Holy Family Parish so we can pray for you and offer pastoral support and a visit. You can also contact the parish office to let us know. SAVE THE DATE: Give a warm welcome and celebrate Fr. Tom Pomeroy s 25th ordination anniversary on Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8 after all Masses. MISSALETTES FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE are In Thanksgiving for Good Health. Thank you Shirley & James Schisel for your generosity. TOTUS TUUS is coming back to Holy Family Parish. Totus Tuus is a week long Vacation Bible School for all ages of kids. Grades 1 6 will meet during the day on July from 9:30 AM 2:30 PM with lunch and snack included. Grades 7 12 will meet July from 7:00 PM 8:15 PM. The cost for the day program is $35 per child with the cost not exceeding $80 per family. The cost of the evening program is $15 per child, however if they help out during the day with the younger kids, the fee will be waived for their evening program. This is an event your kids will not want to miss. There are registration forms in the narthex. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Deb Braden at or deb@holyfamily-parish.org. The rule is to schedule Mass intentions one year out from the date of request PARISH PICNIC RAFFLE TICKETS: The Parish Raffle is a major fundraiser for your Parish and we need your support. Your raffle tickets are available for pickup in the narthex. Ticket stubs with money and leftover tickets can be returned in the weekly collection or brought to the parish office until Friday, August 17. The 2018 "Sundae" host farm is Matt-N-Ney Holsteins, Brillion. All parking will be at Brillion High School with bus transportation to and from the host farm. A handicap bus will be available to transport attendees with special transportation requirements. "Sundae" is a family event with no admission being charged. Guests are treated to free cheese and milk. Burgers, and grilled cheese sandwiches will be sold along with ice cream sundaes. Guided farm tours, tractor-wagon rides, butter churning, Addie a life-size cow children can milk, kiddie tractor pull, multiple booths, kids games and live music are a few of the highlights of the event. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR PARISH LIFE LINE SCREENING, a leading provider of communitybased preventive health screenings, is pleased to offer a preventative health event at the Brillion Community Center on June 22, Five screenings will be offered that scan for health problems related to blocked arteries, abdominal aortic aneurysms, hardening of the arteries in the legs, atrial fibrillation or irregular heart beat and bone density screening.
