The chapel will be decorated to look like a garden, symbolizing our watch with Christ as he prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane on the night before he died. On the Altar will be the reserved sacrament from the Maundy Thursday service. The Altar then becomes an Altar of Repose as it bears Christ himself within the garden. Jesus asks his disciples to stay awake and watch with him on this night, and we are asked to do the same. A sign-up sheet has been posted outside of the office. I have divided the all night watch into half hour slots, but you are welcome to sign up for as many slots as you wish. The first slot will take place immediately following the service until 9 pm. The final slot will begin at 8 am on Good Friday and will conclude with the start of the liturgy at 9 am. The last half hour can be a bit disruptive as I will be tearing down the garden in preparation for the service. Please come and be a part of this prayerful and solemn time as we move through the crucifixion to the joy that awaits all of us on Easter. The sign-up sheet is located outside the office on the white board. Easter Flowers Please turn in your forms and payment to the church office by Friday, March 23rd. This deadline gives the florist time to plan according to the budget and for us to prepare the Easter Bulletins during Holy Week & Spring Break. We cannot accept any forms after this deadline. Thank you! Rest eternal grant to them, O Lord, We extend our deepest sympathies to Lynn Coleman and family on the death of her sister Missy Mullen. 4 4 March 21, 2018 NOTES FROM CALLIE Room in the Inn Thank you to everyone who cooked, volunteered, picked up laundry, and kept us organized for this Room in the Inn season! Thank you to those who made monetary donations, prayed for us, and asked how things were going. Our Room in the Inn season at Trinity ended this past Thursday evening (March 15). We could have not done anything without all of you. Thank you. Please, continue to pray for our homeless brothers and sisters. They feel very anxious as the Room in the Inn season ends, so pray for them that they might get the support and strength they need to live more fulfilled lives. UNA It's hard to believe, but we are about halfway through the spring semester. Canterbury has had a great year. We have seen some growth both in energy and in numbers, but we'd love to keep the growth steady. Pray for us and invite any student you meet to be part of our group. Our weekly schedule is below.
