Even in the darkest hours of the night, in our Adoration Chapel, people kneel in front of the Blessed Sacrament and pray for the sick, for our parish family, our country, our world. Due to work obligations, serious health issues and family demands, we need more people to commit to spending a weekly holy hour of adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament. St. Catherine is blessed to have Perpetual Adoration but we need your support. Offering of Letters What is it, and why do we do it? It is about. confronting the problem of hunger. St Catherine s will be offering letters June 9/10 after all Masses. Each year, St. Catherine s along with Bread for the World members write to their members of Congress, advocating for policies that help end hunger in the United States & around the world. We encourage all people who care about hunger to write to their representatives and senators, whether in groups or individually Sample Letter. Dear Representative or Senator, As Congress works on the fiscal year 2019 budget and spending bills, We ask you to invest in & protect key programs that will reduce hunger and poverty. Our country and the world have made progress against hunger and poverty in recent decades. I want you to continue to invest in programs like SNAP and tax credits for low-income workers. Continued funding for programs that reduce hunger and poverty around the world are important to me. My faith calls me to urge you to make public investments that will move us toward the end of hunger.

8 P 8 J 10, 2018 Parents when you register your child for Religious Education next year, please keep in mind that WEDNESDAYS are YOUTH NIGHTS Every week at YOUTH NIGHT we have a scripture theme, song of the week, great small group reflections, and we send our youth forth with a weekly challenge! We even provide dinner, too! Urban Plunge information Urban Plunge I mission trip will have their send-off Mass on Sunday, June 17 at the 10:00am Mass.
