Family Faith Formation is provided for those families whose children are in grades K - 8 that do not attend Catholic Schools. Faith Formation helps children to learn and grow in their Catholic Faith life and prepares children and families to celebrate their sacraments. The sessions are held two Sundays a month starting in September and are offered between the Sunday Mass times. 5 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL COME AND HELP US JOURNEY BACK TO EGYPT... Join us on Tuesday, July 10 starting at 6:00 PM in the middle school to help set up and set the stage for our Egyptian themed Vacation Bible School which starts the next morning! All are welcome to come and share their talents. If you have ideas that you would like to share or discuss prior to that night - give Cyndi a call in the parish office. BRING THOSE TREATS We love treating our VBS volunteers to some special treats. If you would be willing to bring some pre-packaged snack items for them, just leave them with Cyndi in the parish office before Wednesday (July 11) and we will make sure they get eaten! Bottled water is also needed. Thank you so much for all your donations so far. 55+ ALIVE CLUB NEWS Attention Seniors! Please Join us at one of our favorit eating places! The club will meet for lunch on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 11:30 a.m., at the O Charley s, on Outer Loop. We will then proceed to the All Saints Room of the St. Bernard Annex for our meeting and games. Bring your pennies and watch the fun commence! For information, call Carol French at FAMILY SERVICE PROJECT SNACKS IN SACKS Mark your calendar for Friday, July 27th from 6:00pm- 7:00pm. We will be hosting SNACKS IN SACKS for the Street Reach ministry in our gym! We are in need of MANY donations and volunteers to make this event successful. Items needed are gallon size ziplock bags (think Dollar Tree) and individually wrapped snack items (Vienna sausages, pop top/pouches of tuna, beef sticks, protein bars, applesauce cups, chips, crackers, snack cakes, cereal bars, pudding cups, etc.) I also ask that in addition to your snack donations, that each family also bring either a case of water OR a $5 McDonald s gift card. However snacks are most important because we will be putting what is donated into sacks and if we don't receive many donations, it will end quickly. Can't make it?? 6 SAFE ENVIRONMENT WORKSHOP The Archdiocese of Louisville requires that all adults who work with children in our parish communities attend a Honor Thy Children Safe Environment training session and have a background check. Background check forms are in the Parish Office. The following workshop dates are on the calendar. You do not need an appointment, just come 15 minutes early and register. Please note: Children are not allowed to attend this training.
