How is God calling you to serve? Pray and respond generously. Coming Soon: Ministry enrichment and Ministry fair. What is ministry enrichment? Questions such as what is the nature of the kingdom of God? How do we really come to know our role in the kingdom building? How similar or different is the kingdom of God in relation to the earthly empires? What skill sets are needed for those called to serve the kingdom of God? Masses will be held at 7:00am and 7:00pm. It is a Holy Day of Obligation. Bible Study-Lectionary based; is ongoing at the Parish Hall through August 30.,2018 A Church is a house of prayer and common worship. We encourage minimum conversation to allow more time for prayer; for ourselves and for those around us If you know of a parishioner who is homebound or in any of the senior living facilities call the parish office. We are committed to reaching out to all our parishioners.

BABIAK SPECIAL CELEBRATIONS Sisters of Mercy Celebrating 175 years in the USA. To commemorate this event, each Sister of Mercy and Mercy Associate has been asked to find 175 ways to honor the occasion. The Mercy Associates at Immaculate have decided to collect 175 pairs of new socks for men, women and children. Bins will be available by the church entrances. We are all invited to support this initiative. Opportunity to be part of this great cause runs though the end of August. PLEASE PRAY FOR... AROUND THE AREA Pietra fitness resumes classes on Wednesdays, 3pm at Immaculate Conception in Carges Hall beginning on August 22nd. Pietra Fitness is a stretching, strengthening and balancing exercise program which combines Catholic/ Christian prayer and meditation. Currently Pietra Fitness is primarily offered to women. There is no charge for classes, but a donation for the use of the facilities is appreciated. For further information see or contact Pat French Boys Choir Les Moineaux will be on tour in the East and South of the United States this summer. Their concerts will include music of the sixteenth century and the well known Hallelujah from Handel, Ave Maria from Gounod, as well as music pieces of the French folklores. They will be performing at Immaculate Conception Church on Monday, August 20th, at 2:00pm. There is no charge, but they will accept a free will offering. This choir has been singing and travelling all over the world for 65 years. Please note that to accommodate this choir, daily Mass will be at 7:00am. Do you have a few extra hours in your week? BIRTHRIGHT NEED YOU! Birthright is a non-profit organization that helps women in crisis pregnancies. We believe it is the right of every pregnant woman to give birth and the right of every child to be born. It is our mission to help these women to find resources and to lend a listening ear.
