4 Dinner and Talent Show Make your reservations now to attend the Valentine s Day Dinner and Talent Show! Sunday, February 14th 5:30 pm at the church Menu: Roast Pork Potato Casserole Green Beans Jell-o Salad Rolls Sherbet Coffee, Tea, and Ice Water will be served. Please reserve your place by Sunday, February 7th, by either contacting the church office or signing the list in the narthex. This is a family-friendly event! Cost for the evening is a free will donation to the hymnal fund. The Talent Show will be held after dinner is served. If you are planning to perform, please sign the list in the narthex, or contact Mary Hunter by Sunday, February 7th. Don t be shy, we want to see all of those hidden treasures that you have been hiding! Sign up and share with your church family! No prizes will be given, but we promise to love and appreciate your talent offerings. 5 Thanks to everyone who gave to support the ministry of this church in 2015 by sharing your time, talents, and gifts. Because of your incredible generosity, 2015 was one of our most successful years to date. Our giving is up, attendance is up, and we are making a real difference in our community. A huge thanks to those of you who will be continuing to give to support us in 2016, because we are planning to do even more this year to cause heaven to come crashing into earth. Remember, because of your continued generosity the gospel is being proclaimed, lives are being changed, the hungry are being fed, the thirsty have access to water, people are finding hope, and God's will is being done. In Christ, Stewardship Committee On behalf of my family, I just wanted to thank everyone who was a part of Khora's baby shower. We were blessed beyond measure, and now have all of the stuff we need to take care of a newborn. You not only saved us money, but you showed us your love! 6 BAPTISM/MENTOR PROGRAM ASH WEDNESDAY, Feb. 10th, begins our annual program for those who are considering baptism. Invitations have gone out to all children fourth grade and above. If you did not receive one and want your child to participate, or you are an adult who is interested, contact Pastor Sue ASAP. Instead of attending 7 weeks of classes, this program matches a baptism candidate with an appropriate adult mentor. Together you work through the material on a schedule that works for you. If after the study, you feel God is calling you into Baptism, then you will make your confession of faith on Palm Sunday and be baptized on Easter Sunday. If these dates do not work for you, contact Pastor Sue to make other arrangements. Younger Children hear a Bible story and make a craft. 3-5th graders study a Bible truth through inter-active games. 6th-8th Grades REGIONAL CHI RHO RETREAT FEB. 26, 27, 28 Join other 6-8th graders from around Kansas at Camp Tawakoni for a fun and faith filled weekend! Forms and $30 due back by Feb. 7th All Youth are participating in the Dinner and Talent Show on Feb. 14 -no regular group meeting. 9th-12th Grades SAVE THE DATE- MARCH 6-8th is the weekend for the High School Regional Spring Retreat. This is a fun and faith-filled weekend where you get to meet other h.s. youth from around the Kansas Region. Forms and $30 due back by Feb. 14th. All Youth are participating in the Dinner and Talent Show on Feb. 14 -no regular group meeting.

7 Lola Donecker is turning 90 on February 19 th. Come help the family celebrate with a come & go reception in her honor, Sunday, February 21 st, in the Parlor from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. No gifts please! Just a reminder that Pastor Josh and Ashley are expecting their second child somewhere around the 8th of February. This means the baby could be born at any time. After Khora is born, Josh will be taking 2 weeks of paternity leave and will not be available in any way. While Josh is gone Pastor Sue is in charge! If you need anything during those 2 weeks please call the church office or get in contact with Pastor Sue. Thank you!
