5 TODAY S LOOSE OFFERING: Conference Faith Advance 2 Chron. 31:5-9 tells us: The people of Israel...responded generously by bringing the first share of their grain, new wine, olive oil, honey, and all the produce of their fields. They brought in the tithes of their cattle, sheep, and goats and a tithe of the things that had been dedicated to the Lord their God, and they piled them up in great heaps When Hezekiah and his officials saw these huge piles, they thanked the Lord! When God has our hearts, he has our wallets as well! STEWARDSHIP SPOTLIGHT: Please contribute to the local annual sacrifice fund. Fellowship Dinner: Everyone is invited to stay for a meal in the Mendinghall Better Living Center after church service today. Church Choir Rehearsal: Thank you so much to all of our participants for your sacrifice to make the Convocation Mass Choir wonderful! Many compliments were received. Praise God! 8 TROPICAL GREEN SMOOTHIE BOWL Ingredients: 1/4 cup orange juice; 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese; 1 cup tightly packed baby spinach leaves (or kale); 1 cup frozen chopped mangos; 1 Tbsp. hulled pumpkin seeds Directions: Blend juice, cottage cheese, spinach and 3/4 cup mangos in blender until smooth. Pour into bowl. Top with remaining mangos and sprinkle with pumpkin seeds. Enjoy! Ingredients: 2-15 oz. cans chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed & drained; 1 large potato, cooked & diced; 1 large cucumber, diced; 1/2 small onion, minced Dressing: 1 cup unsweetened soy yogurt; juice of 1/2 lime; 1 tsp. salt; 1.5 tsp. ground cumin; 1 tsp. garlic powder or 1 minced clove; 1/2 to 1.5 tsp. cayenne or other spicy chili powder; 1/2 tsp. coriander; chopped cilantro for serving Directions: Combine the beans, potato, cucumber, and onion in a large bowl. To make the dressing, combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Add the dressing to the veggies and mix thoroughly. Serve topped with chopped cilantro. Enjoy!

12 25. The Second Coming of Christ The second coming of Christ is the blessed hope of the church, the grand climax of the gospel. The Savior s coming will be literal, personal, visible, and worldwide. When He returns, the righteous dead will be resurrected, and together with the righteous living will be glorified and taken to heaven, but the unrighteous will die. The almost complete fulfillment of most lines of prophecy, together with the present condition of the world, indicates that Christ s coming is imminent. The time of that event has not been revealed, and we are therefore exhorted to be ready at all times.
