They are given by her father, Dana Wellborn. Happy birthday Grace. ANNOUNCEMENTS TODAY 1. OFFERING TODAY: Calexico Mission School. For more than seventy-five years the Calexico Mission School (CAMS) has been sharing Christ s love throughout the surrounding border communities. Many K-12 students have come through these halls and learned the academics, but what they truly remember is their teachers praying with them. This is truly a mission school, with ninety percent of Calexico s students coming from non-sda backgrounds. The Lord continues to bless this ministry greatly allowing CAMS to lead many of these families to Him. A number of the parents find it increasingly difficult to fund their children s education. The Worthy Student Fund enables CAMS to meet these needs and helps more students to learn about a God who loves and cares for them. 2. AFTERGLOW: For any who have prayer requests, or would simply like to pray together, there will be a short prayer meeting in the Overflow Room to the left of the Sanctuary after the church service. 3. PATHFINDER INDUCTION: Today, Oct. 24 in the Youth Chapel See insert 4. HARVEST FESTIVAL: This evening - Oct. 24 at 6:04 pm See insert

3 NEXT WEEK 5. WOMEN S BIBLE STUDY: Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm, as we examine the life of Christ as told in the Gospel of Mark. WEDNESDAY MORNING GROUP - Studying new book: Thoughts COMMUNITY From the SDA Mount CHUR of Blessings by Ellen White. Books will be provided for each student. We meet from 10:30 to 12 noon in the Overflow Room. All are encouraged to join and share your thoughts on the subject that will be covered. A different class member will be leading each chapter with class participation. 8. PRAYER MEETING: Wednesday night, at 6pm in Youth Chapel. Studying Early Church Experience from the Book of Acts. 9. Youth are invited to join the academy students at the gym. GENERAL 12. FROM HUBERT AND LORETTA MOOG Thank you for the basket of "goodies" and the warm welcome as our membership was approved last Sabbath. We are happy to be a part of the Yucaipa Church. 13. AREA-WIDE IN-SERVICE FOR DEACONS & DEACONESSES on Sabbath, November 14, It is being held at the Southeastern California Conference office from 4 5:30p. Invitation is to all Deacons and Deaconesses in the Inland Empire area. RSVPs: Due to limited space, it is important that attendees register the number of people coming from your church. THE SENIOR CLASS AT MESA GRANDE ACADEMY is hosting a yard sale at MGA's Fall Fair on Sunday, November 8. If you or others you know have items they would like to donate, it would be greatly appreciated if you could bring them to the school during the week of November 2-6. If you need to arrange for items to be picked up, please call Milo Heinrich at x236 or milo.heinrich@mgak-12.org. Thank you! 16. MESA GRANDE ACADEMY FALL FAIR! November 8th, Come join MGA for yummy food, games, yard sale, and fun times with family and friends at the Fall Fair! All proceeds will go to support the students and their classrooms at Mesa Grande Academy. COMBINED BUDGET: monthly goal $14,000 COMBINED BUDGET: received in Oct. $ 8,830 Combined Budget: Year thru last month -$ 3,794 Tuition Aid: needed each month $ 2,300 Tuition Aid: received in Oct. $ 1, ANY UNDESIGNATED MONEY: in a tithe envelope, will go toward the offering appeal of the day.
