They minister under a healing and teaching anointing. They have ministered in the United States in churches in Wisconsin, Arkansas, California, Michigan, Oklahoma and Texas. In addition to ministering in the United States, they have ministered in the Philippines, Ukraine, and Mexico and have made three trips to Cuba. A ministry trip to Kenya is scheduled for October, 2008 with trips to Cuba and Ukraine following shortly thereafter. Their ministry is funded and supported by contributions both from individuals and businesses. The mission of Wally Ninneman Ministries, Inc. is as Jesus commanded Paul in Acts 26:18 - To open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me. It is the very heart of the ministry to teach people how they can be empowered through action on the knowledge of who they are in Jesus Christ. 2 Page 2 Springtown Chamber Chatter FROM THE DESK OF SUPERINTENDENT Superintendent s Article Chamber of Commerce Newsletter October 2008 As many of you may recall, the production of the Wizard of Oz was a huge success. The musical was seen by over 2500 attendees who enjoyed the production and were thoroughly entertained. Several Springtown businesses contributed to the program by purchasing advertisements. The support of the businesses is vital to the success of these student events, and Springtown has always shown interest in these children by providing financial support. On their behalf, I say Thank You. The Springtown ISD Fine Arts Department is in the planning phase for their school year musical production. Several departments will again join forces to bring the Sound of Music to life for the enjoyment of students, parents, SISD staff, and community members. A production of this nature requires many to be involved. The participants include students in choir, band, theater arts, and Ag (for set design). Other participants will likely include children from elementary, intermediate, and middle school as well as SISD teachers, board members, and community members. 5 Springtown Chamber Chatter Page 5 CHAMBER BLOOD DRIVE OCTOBER 18, 2008 The Springtown Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a blood drive with Carter BloodCare on Saturday, October 18 th from 8-11am in Central Plaza Shopping Center parking lot (by Dollar General, Christian Alley and O s Fitness Center). Carter BloodCare is the local blood bank that provides 96 percent of all blood transfusion needs for the Metroplex and surrounding 54 counties. It requires around 1,100 donors per day to meet the growing blood needs of our area and it is only made possible through the generosity of the donors from our community. One out of every three people will need blood at some time in their life. Blood from each donor is separated into three elements; red cells, plasma and platelets, touching and saving three different lives. Please be a part of this life saving project. Please contact Oleta Parker by or at 817/ to let her know if you are willing and able to give. All donors receive a T-shirt and mini-physical including blood pressure and iron level check at the time of donation and cholesterol results following their donation. Donor s families will be enrolled into the LIFEPLAN. This plan helps offset the cost of blood transfusions. Every donation counts to save the lives of friends, family and neighbors in our community.
