I am looking forward to your participation in the upcoming Missionary Baptist State Convention of Missouri 2017 Spring Board Meeting, March 13-15, Lodging & all events will be held at our host hotel, the Inn at Grand Glaze Lakeside Resort & Conference Center, 5142 Hwy 54, Osage Beach, MO. Our host church will be the Second Missionary Baptist Church of Mexico, Missouri. Rev. Karl Thomas will be the Host Pastor and Moderator (Mt. Carmel District). All activities will be held at the hotel. A reception and welcome program on Monday (13th) will feature the host church Second Baptist Mexico Church choir with a special fellowship luncheon planned for Tuesday. The Ophelia Brown study hour will be led by Sister Johnnie Clayton, study hour 8:30a.m. on Tuesday (March 14th) and Wednesday (March 15th). I look forward to seeing you in session. We praise God for another God ordained mission and safe return home to her family. (Pastor Clyde Ruffin). Sis. Ruffin is grateful for the calling that rests on her life to be an instrument of God. 7 Lady Dyann Brown, 1st Lady Emeritus of the MBSC-MO shouts to heaven thanking God for blessing her to serve alongside Rev. Dr. Jimmy L. Brown who will celebrate 50 years of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Lady Dy recalls Pastor Brown s first sermon entitled: A Little is Enough! April 6th, 2017 Lady Dy & Dr. Brown will be blessed to celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary. Glory be to God for He Has Done is certainly a testimony Lady Dy has shared with the Minister Wives/Widows Auxiliary throughout the these many years. May God s favor and blessings continue to flow unto this Gospel ministry power couple!!! 7

8 The LEC just got a little busier in their preparations for Missionary Baptist State Convention of MO hosting of the 2017 NATIONAL BAPTIST CONGRESS OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION CONVENTION where over 30,000 members will gather in the City of St. Louis June 19th-23rd. The Minister Wives/Widows LEC is on a goodwill mission to outfit those in need with a pair of new shoes. The LEC is looking for your support!
