3 Dear CCW members of St. Gregory the Great, Welcome to our new year 2018, hope it will be a wonderful and blessed one for you and your families. CCW members are asked to work one circle ( C ) event and one project ( P ) event. Please look where your name is listed and participate. I think of it as a time to reacquaint with fellow Catholic parishioners and perform a service to our church, our community, and our God. CCW meets six times a year and we ask members, in alphabetical order, to bring something for a small lunch. Names are listed in book. All are invited to attend the meetings. We welcome all other offers to help in activities as your interests and schedules allow. We have been so fortunate to have members come forward to help with extra projects that come up. Our CCW officers and volunteers have prayerfully and thoughtfully assembled the worker lists. If an assignment doesn't work for you, please swap places with a fellow parishioner and let that chairperson know. Thank you! Sincerely, Arlene Phillips CCW President St. Gregory the Great Page 3

31 A Strong Woman vs. A Woman of Strength By Lavida Harris A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape... A woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape... A strong woman isn't afraid of anything... A woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear... A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her... A woman of strength gives the best of her to everyone... A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future... A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be God's blessings and capitalizes on them... A strong woman walks sure footedly... A woman of strength knows God will catch her when she falls... A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face... A woman of strength wears grace... A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey... A woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.. Page 31
