Thank you Your Post 1376 Board of Directors DAVID WILLIAMS I recently attended the Memorial Service for Dave Williams. Dave was very much involved with the American Legion. He held several positions with both his Post in Holland Patent and Oneida County. As a past commander of his Post and also Oneida County Dave was very much respected for his knowledge and commitment to the plight of the veteran and the programs of the American Legion. Dave was a US Navy veteran serving in Viet Nam. I came to know Dave some twenty years ago, shortly before I got involved as an officer with my Post and when I first became Post Commander in 1999, Dave was one of the first to help me get acquainted of how the Legion works. We remained good friends through out the years and along with his family and many friends we lost a good man and he will be truly missed. Our sincere sympathies go out to his family. Rest in peace my friend.
