4 As a Member Your Input is Desired ~ In your bulletin this week, and for the week of October 12, you will find the Pastoral Profile Survey. This is a tool to report to your Apison Church leaders, and to the Georgia Cumberland Conference, what you believe to be important characteristics that you would like your new church pastor to have. Your responses will be tabulated and given (without your name attached) to the Church Board to assist them in creating the final profile of the pastor that the Apison Church desires. These final results will then be given to the Conference Ministerial team to aid them in the location of a pastor for the Apison Church Board to interview. Three ways to complete the survey: 1. Complete the survey online at home (PREFERRED). Go to the church s website: apisonchurch.org and follow the link to the survey. 2. Complete the survey at church online (PREFERRED) - Please go to one of the classrooms across the hall from the sanctuary after the church service to fill out the survey on-line. 3. If you are not able to complete the survey online, complete it in paper form and turn it in to one of the elders listed below or put it in the offering plate. These opportunities will be available until October 12. If you want to make additional comments regarding characteristics that you think the new pastor should have, please submit your thoughts, in writing, to any one of the elders listed below. Additionally, these elders will be available in church to take your written comments as well as to listen to your thoughts regarding the gifts that you believe that our new church pastor should have. The deadline to receive your input will be October 12 at 1pm.
