Officer installation to follow Mass. Luncheon and Social at White Birch Inn/Samuelsons Creek Grill, 1009 S. Oxford Avenue, Sturgeon Bay. Social to follow Officer Installation. Cost is $18.50 per person which includes tip and tax. October 10, 2017 Pulaski: To be announced (TBA). Faithful Navigator Notes The election of our officers for will take place at the June Business meeting. All will be the same except for three new Sir Knights. SK Rev. Father Daniel Schuster is proposed as our new Faithful Friar. SK Wesley Swisher is proposed as our newest Faithful Trustee. SK Robert Tuszynski will be appointed as the Honor Guard Commander. We have been blessed to have SK Master Larry Ziarnik for several years. SK Larry continues to represent our Assembly and this region in many positive and outstanding ways. Thank you, Sir Larry! Other nominations will be taken from the floor. If you wish to serve in some capacity, please let me know. As always please continue to pray for those that are in some form of distress. We will be remembering all of our deceased members on November 4, 2017 in our Memorial Mass at Prince of Peace Parish. May God bless you and yours. 3 Faithful Comptroller Notes Religious Liberty I first want to thank all the Honor Guard who participated in this year s State Convention in Stevens Point. What a testament this was to the four Bishops who co-concelebrated Mass Saturday evening. One of the many messages from this year s State Convention revolved around protecting our Religious Freedom. Our State Deputy has asked every Council and Assembly to participate in events celebrating Religious Freedom. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Supreme Chaplain Archbishop William E. Lori have encouraged public witness in defense of the Freedom of Religion. June 21 st through July 4 th is designated the Fortnight for Freedom. It is the time for every Knight to stand and bear witness to their beliefs and the teaching of our Holy Roman Catholic Church. Plan an event: a prayer vigil, a procession, a march and some public witness to the truth and need for liberty. Now is your time. Commence the defense of Religious Liberty and ensure our continued Freedom to serve our fellow man through the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy.
