1 BTCC NEWSLETTER Wednesday, December 13, 2017 Trail News The weekly Youth/Children s Church will be Wednesday, December 13, from 6:30-8pm. Ages are from 3 years old thru 12 th grade. Meals are included. The weekly Round Pen Bible Study will be Wednesday, December 13, from 7-8pm. We meet at 6:30 for a meal so come early. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Invite a friend and bring your bible, a favorite dish to share and a drink and plan on joining us. The study will be held in the Sanctuary. Mixed adults. BTCC Arena Team presents Peaster Rodeo Practice Thursday, December 14, from 6:30-9pm. This is a weekly practice every Thursday. The weekly Friday night Sorting Practice will be Friday, December 15, starting at 6:30pm. The cost is $25 The Youth Team will be providing food for suggested donations only. Channing s Baby Shower will be Saturday, December 16, here at the church. She is registered at Target and Walmart. If you can attend please text RSVP to Janet Walker at ASAP. BTCC Children s Team announces the Children s Musical Christmas Pageant to be Sunday, December 17, during services. Please check with Mechelle Lloyd, Team Leader, for suggested attire. The date set for the December BTCC Leadership Meeting will be directly following services on Sunday, December 17. This meeting is for all Elders, Lay Pastors and Team Leaders only. If you belong in any of these categories, please plan on attending. If you cannot attend, please assign someone from your team to represent. Barrel Practice will be in the Arena on Tuesday, December 19, starting at 7pm. Cost is $10 per horse. BTCC Annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be Sunday, December 24, at 6pm. Everyone is invited to attend. There will be an On-Call Church-wide Meeting on Sunday, December 31, in order to discuss 2018 Elder Nominations. All current members should plan on attending if possible as a vote will be required. The BTCC Missions Team will be sponsoring a Blood Drive directly following services on Sunday, December 31, until 2pm. Please plan on donating if possible.

2 BTCC will be hosting a New Year s Eve Family Event on Sunday, December 31, from 6:30pm-midnight! See the flyer below for more details! Hoof Beats ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` We have had a small snafu with our new cookbooks but should be back up and running just in time for the holidays.the Missions Team now have the 2017 Cookbooks available, in hand. The new books cost $12. Please see a member of the Mission Team to purchase yours. They will make great Christmas gifts! ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` Due to the New Year s Eve Party happening Sunday night on December 31, there will be NO 5 th Sunday meal in December. The next 5 th Sunday meal scheduled will be april, ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` In view of the upcoming Holiday Season, BTCC has halted some studies and events until after the first of the New Year: Ladies Women of Faith bible study (Thursday nights) Ladies Support Group (Monday nights) College/Career Night at the Massey s (Monday nights) Ladies Cow Working Clinic (held the 2 nd & 4 th Mondays of each month) Peaster Rodeo Team We will post restart dates as soon as they become available ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` Due to Christmas Holiday Season the church office will be closed from noon, December 22, thru Saturday, December 30. ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` GOD LOVES COWBOYS & COWGIRLS SO MUCH THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON

3 Attention All Youth: It s that time again to get ready for DNOW! Pre-registration starts now for ages 7 th grade thru 12 th grade. Please get with Channing or Boone Massey. Reserve the following dates: Wednesday, February 7, 2018 DNOW kickoff at Northside Baptist Church! Meet at Brazos Trails at 6pm. Everyone will ride together in van to Northside and return to church about 8:00pm. Friday-Sunday February 16, 17, & 18, 2018 DNOW WEEKEND!
