Tom With his Aggies basketball team behind by 12 points to a scrappy Northern Iowa team, Alex and his teammates had their work cut out for them, with only 33 seconds remaining. They made every right play. They hit every must-have shot. They capitalized on several Northern Iowa mistakes. Against all odds and logic, they tied the game up, and they sent it into overtime. And then into double overtime, where the Aggies won, 92-88, in what has been termed the "Greatest Comeback Ever". God disagrees. So does satan. With Jesus dead in the ground, in "the tomb where they lay his breathless clay", there was not even the slightest mathematical possibility that He could come back. But He did, by the Resurrective Power of the very God who invented the laws of the universe, and who suspends them when it suits Him to do so. And so Jesus rose up and walked out. satan had slammed the door on Jesus comeback chances. Turn out the lights, the party's over. Except it wasn't. And it still isn't. How far behind are you? How little time remains in life for you? How unlikely is your comeback? Doesn't matter. Turn it over to God. You just don't know what miracle He might pull off. Jesus wasn't ready to be done.
