Parents are reminded that the selection of sponsors must be made according to regulations specified in Canon Law. Information regarding these regulations will be forwarded upon request. Marriage: Engaged couples are asked to make an appointment with Monsignor at least six months in advance of their planned date of marriage. In addition, at least one of the individuals planning marriage must be a registered and active member of the parish. Penance: Saturdays at 4:15 PM or by appointment. The twelve teens and their four adult leaders will leave from Logan Airport and travel to Montego Bay, Jamaica for a full week of serving the orphans at Blessed Assurance. Their interaction with these precious little ones who know so much of life s pains will bring both joy and tears to our teens who know so much of life s riches. It will be a humbling experience but one that will have a profound effect on their young lives as it s had on the lives of the teens who have gone before them. Please keep them in your prayers and follow their blogs on our Facebook page Holy Apostles Church. The members of Teens on a Mission 2017 are: Teen Missionaries Peter Choquette, Heather DiFazio, Erin Dillon, Jared Farley, Taylor Ferry, Olivia Kearns, Sara Lancellotta, Nathan Maltais, Thomas Napolitano, Caroline Russell, Keevan Winters, Kayla Woodbury, Adult Leaders Michael Santilli, MaryAnn Johnson, Mark Colozzi, Jenna Colozzi. Happy Father s Day to all our fathers and grandfathers. We ask that the Lord grant them the gifts of wisdom, understanding, love and compassion as they share in the creative power of God. May their hearts rejoice and be at peace as they guide their children to grow and mature in body, mind and faith. For our part, we express to all our Dads our respect, admiration and love. And for those of us whose Dads are with the Lord, we thank them for all they did for us while with us here on earth and we ask for their intercessory prayers from their place in heaven. Msgr. I am grateful to every one of the 462 donors and ask those who haven t yet made a donation to please do so in the next few weeks. Catholic Charity helps provide outstanding support to people throughout Rhode Island who look to the Charity Fund for assistance. Any donation received by June 30 th will be credited to our parish for this year s Appeal. Just to let you know that any money over the goal does come back to the parish. The Providence Serra Club is hosting a Holy Hour on Friday, June 23 at Saint Brendan's in Riverside (60 Turner Avenue) at 6:30 pm. The hour will include Adoration, the rosary, a homily by Father John Codega, and benediction.
