It is time to have you think about our rally in Quartzsite. Plans are already in the making by the president of the Eagles--Wayne Schell. He has organized a group of professional singers that will be the entertainment. These professionals have been around the country in the past and have grouped together to bring some exciting music for us. Come and enjoy January 21, 22, and 23 of 2011! We have two new members. However, we can still provide free first year memberships worth $45.00 to the Family Motor Coach Association if they fill out a form before Dec. 31, So, if you know of someone that would like to be a part of FMCA and possibly our group, please contact one of the leaders in our group. We have had a great time this year traveling from Quartzite in January, to the Election rally at Bob and Shirley McKinney's. July brought us to Madras Oregon to a pre-rally put on by the CVC club for 5 days. From there we caravanned to the FMCA rally in Redmond, Oregon. August took us to Kanab, Utah for a great rally put on by Mike and Nina O'Rourke. In October we attended the Joint rally with the Gems, who have officially dis-banded and have joined our club. The Castro Valley rally, for those who haven't attended, was really a great time. The San Francisco area has such a variety of things to do. We visited the Presidio at the Golden Gate and visited the Walt Disney museum, went on a wine tasting tour, toured an World War 2 submarine, rode the "Duck" on a tour of the city and out into the bay, and ate lots of good food from Robert and Marie Pimentel! Of course the ladies had a great time shopping at Fisherman's Wharf. We look forward to seeing everyone in Quartzite for our joint reunion put on by the Eagles this year. Phillips Crab Meat or the fake crab meat 1 T. scallions, diced 10 oz. Swiss cheese, shredded 1 C. mayonnaise 1 t. salt 1 t. fresh lemon juice 1 baguette, sliced into about 50 1/4 inch thick rounds. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Gently combine crab meat and Swiss cheese. Add remaining ingredients, being careful not to break up crab lumps. Spread baguette rounds onto baking pan. Top each round with crap meat mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for minutes or until golden brown.
