Prayers for Unity Church in Redding s Spiritual Leader Carolyn Warnemuende The wildfire that started on Monday, July 23 has moved through parts of Redding. Carolyn and her family lost their home as it burned to the ground. Let us hold them in prayer and give our support and love! Prayer for Carolyn and family: Great Spirit of Life, God the good, that divine presence of immense love that is always within us is with Carolyn and her family during this time of change. As we bring our attention to our hearts, feeling our oneness with Spirit we hold a sacred space of love, comfort and support for

3 them. We know the Divine is all about order and Carolyn and her family are woven perfectly into this order. They are moving through a new passage in life that brings expansion and light. We hold for them this light, knowing that the process of their new journey has clarity in every step they take. There is certainty in their success of moving through each step with ease and grace, and the amazing speed at how quickly they manifest good. We are so grateful they are safe and loved and are capable of great things. We are grateful for the wonderful gifts that come from this new beginning as they are lifted to great heights. We are grateful to support our spiritual sister, Carolyn and her family. We thank you Spirit and so it is! Amen. Note to Ministers! Sunday, September 9 The 3rd Annual USC Birdhouse Art Event Has Launched! "What do I hope to bring to my community?" is the reflection question for our new birdhouse art project, which was launched on Sunday, May 27. You can still pick up your birdhouse and reflect on the question; then decorate it in any manner you choose to express your response. And you're getting all summer to work on it; your completed birdhouse is due on Homecoming Sunday, September 9. After being on display, they will be auctioned off as a fundraiser for USC--and you will be able to bid on your own birdhouse, of course! (It is free to participate; but please note that anyone who does not turn in a completed project on that day will be asked to reimburse the cost of the birdhouse.) Get your creative juices flowing and sign up in the back of the Sanctuary to enter and create a birdhouse that shows how you like to contribute to our community!
