Not all of the officers have made reservations. It is still not too late. your reservations to Gordon at gcarmichael571@yahoo.com. This is your council so please show your support to the officers by attending the installation. The Council is providing the chicken and all we ask is that you bring a side dish or desert. Social starting 6PM, dinner at 6:30 with installation to follow. Brother Michael Thomas has transferred to Council 571 if you know Mike please wish him well and let him know that he is welcome back at any time. Frank Still has gathered some information on aprons. The price sounds reasonable and I am sure he will present this information at a future meeting. Frank is also taking orders for shirts. Please contact him if you desire to purchase a shirt. We have received the flag pole and top. Leo Hoefer has made a stand to put it in, Thank You Leo. Now all we need is a flag to put on it. If you have one that could be donated please let one of the officers know. I have heard that Bishop LeBlond Council 5067 is going to start saying the rosary before the second meeting of each month. We have gone from zero a year ago to having 3 now and some others interested. If you are a 4 th degree member and interested in the honor guard please contact Leonard Amos at SERVERS NEEDED: We would like to get enough members to serve all the Masses on the 3 rd weekend of each month. If you are interested in joining the team and have the honor of being a server please contact LARRY BAHR at INSURANCE AGENT Our Insurance Agent is Alexander Murray. 5 K of C 571 GOLF TOURNAMENT 2013 Finally a warm weather KofC Tournament! This year s Council 571 Golf Tournament is scheduled for FRIDAY, AUGUST 30 th at Fairview Golf Course. It will be a Four-man Scramble. We will use the traditional shotgun start at 8:30 AM. This will allow everyone to start and finish at approximately the same time. After the tournament there will be food and prizes at the Council Hall. You do not need to be a pro to enjoy this tourney, and your chances at prizes are as good as anyone else s. You don t have to be a Knight to join us for the day, all Councils and friends of Knights are welcome. The cost will be $60.00 for everyone this year. You must prepay before the tournament.
