THE LAST DAY TO ORDER Mishloach manot will be Friday, Feb 17. One of the Mitzvot of Purim is the practice of sending gift baskets to friends and relatives. For $40 you'll get a wonderful basket filled with festive yummies and goodies to share with your family or friends, and at the same time help support KH! In each gift basket we'll include a message acknowledging everyone who helped support KH through the purchase of a gift basket as we wish everyone a Happy Purim! Mishloach Manot packages will be ready for pickup beginning Thursday, March 9th through Purim. If you would like to participate in our Mishloach Manot program, send an message to Purim@khnj.org by Friday, Feb 17. Just let us know how many baskets you want to order. Family Promise Shelter Program: KH is partnering with St. Anastasia s Church in Teaneck. We need volunteers to cook at the Church shelter on Sunday evening, February 26 th and Wednesday evening, March 1 st, Sunday, February 26 th and Wednesday, March 1 st, To volunteer Gigi Brown at Info@KHNJ.org Food Drive: KH will be collecting canned and non-perishable food each Shabbat and holiday morning. Especially needed are: cans of tuna fish or jars of peanut butter to fill our food pantry donation bin! You can bring them over to KH anytime during the week or on Shabbat. Let's try to fill our box every week to help our neighbors in need. All food will be donated to the Center for Food Action in Englewood. Chumashim: Dedicate an Etz Hayim book of Torah and Commentary in memory of a loved one or in honor of a simcha. Just
