6 Page 6 THE BRITISH SCHOOL MANILA S VISIT TO THE SYNAGOGUE The British School Manila visited the Synagogue to learn about Chanukah. Their grade 1 class of 60 children spent the morning with our preschool children. Rabbi Azaria explained the story of Chanukah. Then BSM and our children saw a play about dreidels read by our Teacher Paz and acted out by parents from BSM. BSM children broke up into 3 groups. One making sufganiyah (donuts), one making dreidels and the third doing artwork with candles. Then they rotated. It was a wonderful morning.

8 Page 7 Lunch is served at the Shuk. Below are some of the wonderful dishes being served. Each market has a different menu. On holidays we also show movies for the children while the parents are shopping. Next market a new shipment of imported items are arriving.
