Is, then, the one who knows that what has been revealed to you O Prophet Muhammad by your RABB Lord Supreme is the Truth, equal to or like the one who is unwilling and blind to see the truth? - which shuts minds, intelligence and learning faculties; it switches off the source of spiritual knowledge. b. Truly, no one would take heed but only the wise - those who are endowed with intellect and understanding; Statement 20 a. those men and women, young and old who are true to their promise with ALLAH, i.e. Faith in ALLAH's Unity, obedience to all Divine Injunctions, the life after death and process of accountability, etc. b. and never break their promise; Ayah 19 Afaman yaaalamu annama onzila ilayka min rabbika alhaqqu kaman huwa aaama innama yatathakkaru oloo al-albab Ayah 20 Allatheena yoofoona biaaahdi Allahi wala yanqudoona almeethaq Page 721

2 Statement 21 a. and those who join together and maintain the relationships that ALLAH has commanded to be united and maintained, i.e. ties of kinship, etc; b. who fear their RABB Lord Supreme and dread the terrors of dire reckoning, which is strict and minute, on the Day of Judgment; Ayah 21 Waallatheena yasiloona ma amara Allahu bihi an yoosala wayakhshawna rabbahum wayakhafoona soo-a alhisab 21 Statement 22 a. and those men and women, young and old who b. remain patient in adversity, i.e. perseverance, jihad, advocacy of ALLAH's Message, situations of impoverishment and temperamentally unpalatable in order to seek the pleasure of their RABB Lord Supreme, and c. establish their daily Mandatory Prayers, and d. spend in charity out of what WE have provided for them on others, secretly and openly, and e. repel evil with good, i.e. enmity with friendship and injustice with forgiveness, and do not retaliate by doing what is evil in return for evil done. See also 42:40 f. Such people shall have a blissful end - attainment of the ultimate abode. 3 Statement 23 a. They shall enter the Gardens of Eden perpetual bliss - together with the righteous from among - their parents and forefathers, - their spouses, and - their descendents. b. 'WE shall make the progeny of OUR righteous servants i.e. believers be with them - 52:21. c. And the angels shall come on to them from every gate, Statement 24 Ayah 24 a. saying: 'Peace be to you for the Salamun patience you observed and all that you AAalaykum steadfastly endured.' bima sabartum b. Blessed indeed is the attainment of faniaama the final reward of Paradise! AAuqba alddar Statement 25 a. As for those men and women, young and old who - break their promise of obedience to ALLAH's injunctions after accepting it, and - sever the rights and relationships that ALLAH has commanded to be joined in particular of parents, siblings, spouses, children, relatives, neighbors and people at large. They cannot be ignored in favor of any voluntary acts of worship, and - spread mischief, disorder and corruption in and on the earth, b. those are the ones on whom the curse shall be laid upon; c. and for them there shall be the dire abode in Hell. 4 Statement 26 Ayah 26 a. ALLAH amplifies abundant Allahu yabsutu sustenance, or narrows it and gives it alrrizqa liman in scant measure, to whoever HE yashao wills. wayaqdiru b. And those who disbelieve, rejoice wafarihoo in the life of this world, even though, bialhayahi compared to the life after death, the alddunya wama worldly life is nothing but a brief alhayahu enjoyment. alddunya fee alakhirati illa mataaa 26 Statement 27 a. And those who disbelieve say: b. 'Why has no miraculous sign been given to him Prophet Muhammad, from his RABB Lord Supreme?' c. Say: d. 'ALLAH confounds and lets go astray anyone who wills to go astray and guides to HIMSELF those who turn to HIM in repentance; Ayah 27 Wayaqoolu allatheena kafaroo lawla onzila AAalayhi Ayahun min rabbihi qul inna Allaha yudillu man yashao wayahdee ilayhi man anab 27 Statement 28 a. those men and women, young and old who believe and whose hearts find inner peace, assurance and comfort in the Remembrance of ALLAH. b. No doubt it is in the Remembrance of ALLAH that people's hearts find their inner peace, assurance and comfort - a profound reality. Statement 29 a. Those who believe in One ALLAH and the Day of Judgment, and b. do good and righteous deeds shall have unending and everlasting happiness and a most beautiful place to return.' Thus have WE sent you O Kathalika Prophet Muhammad to a community arsalnaka fee before whom other communities ommatin qad have passed away, so that you might khalat min read out and preach to them what qabliha omamun WE have revealed to you, i.e. the litatluwa Qur'an. AAalayhimu b. Yet they deny and disbelieve AR- allathee awhayna REHMAN the Lord of Mercy. ilayka wahum c. Say: yakfuroona d. 'HE AR-REHMAN is my RABB bialrrahmani qul Lord Supreme. huwa rabbee la e. There is no one, real or myth, ilaha illa huwa worthy of worshipful reverence and AAalayhi obedience than HIM alone. tawakkaltu wailayhi matab f. In HIM I have placed my trust, and g. to HIM I shall return.' 30 Page 725

And the disbelievers, because of min darihim their misdeeds, shall not cease to be hatta ya/tiya afflicted by a calamity, disaster or waaadu Allahi hardship or see it fall at their very inna Allaha la doorstep until ALLAH's promise is yukhlifu fulfilled. almeeaaad e. Truly ALLAH never fails to fulfill HIS Word. Statement 32 a. And certainly the Messengers were mocked and derided before your time O Prophet Muhammad, b. but for a while I granted those who disbelieved time and space to go on; c. but MY punishment at length overtook them, d. and how terrible was MY punishment! 7 Statement 33 a. Is, then, HE who stands over every soul and knows all that it does? b. And yet they associate partners in divinity and command to One ALLAH. c. Say: d. 'Name them; list the partners! e. Or would you inform HIM of anything on earth which HE does not know; f. or are these merely empty words, which have no real significance?' g. Indeed their own deceit and cunning devices have been made alluring to those who disbelieve, and they have been barred from the right way. h. And the one whom ALLAH causes to go astray and deprives of guidance can never find anyone to guide. Ayah 33 Afaman huwa qa-imun AAala kulli nafsin bima kasabat wajaaaaloo lillahi shurakaa qul sammoohum am tunabbioonahu bima la yaaalamu fee al-ardi am bithahirin mina alqawli bal zuyyina lillatheena kafaroo makruhum wasuddoo AAani alssabeeli waman yudlili Allahu fama lahu min had 33 Statement 34 Ayah 34 a. 8 Statement 35 Ayah 35 a. This is the Paradise which the Mathalu aljannati righteous and ALLAH-conscious have allatee wuaaida been promised: through it waters flow. almuttaqoona b. Its fruitful foods will be continuous tajree min tahtiha and everlasting, and so will be its al-anharu shade. okuluha da-imun c. Such shall be the reward of those wathilluha tilka who are the ones who are righteous AAuqba and ALLAH-conscious, allatheena d. while the reward for the ittaqaw disbelievers is the Fire. waaauqba alkafireena alnnarwaaauqb a alkafireena alnna Statement 36 a. And those to whom WE have given the Book are happy and rejoice at what has been revealed to you O Prophet Muhammad, b. while there are among them some factions who deny a part of it. c. Say: d. 'I am commanded only to worship One ALLAH, and not to associate any partners with HIM. d. To HIM do I call for guidance and help, and to HIM I shall return.' 9 Statement 37 a. And thus have WE revealed it - the Qur'an - being a command and code of judgments in Arabic. b. If you should succumb to their self attraction for desires after all the knowledge of the Qur'an you have been given, c. you shall have no one to protect or defend you from ALLAH's judgment. Ayah 37 Wakathalika anzalnahu hukman AAarabiyyan wala-ini ittabaaata ahwaahum baaada ma jaaka mina alaailmi ma laka mina Allahi min waliyyin wala waq 37 Statement 38 a. And certainly WE have sent Messengers before you O Prophet Muhammad and gave for them wives and children, i.e. they were all normal human beings. b. And yet it had not been for a Messenger to bring miracle without ALLAH's blessed authorization. c. For every time and every age has had its Divine revelation. Ayah 38 Walaqad arsalna rusulan min qablika wajaaaalna lahum azwajan wathurriyyatan wama kana lirasoolin an ya/tiya bi-ayahin illa bi-ithni Allahi likulli ajalin kitab 38 Page 729

10 Statement 39 a. ALLAH abrogates or repeals of HIS Messages and Commandments whichever HE pleases and/or affirms and retains whichever HE pleases HE annuls what has served its purpose and affirms what is of continued benefit - b. reference is to the Divine Books preceding the Qur'an where various injunctions were not made to be eternal and were thus annulled and modified in times that ALLAH, in HIS wisdom, considered appropriate for human being. The final version appearing in the Qur'an is preserved to infinity in the Mother Book or the Preserved Tablet - 85:21,22 c. And with HIM is the Mother Book origin, essence and source of all revelation. Ayah 39 Yamhoo Allahu ma yashao wayuthbitu waaaindahu ommu alkitab Statement 40 Ayah 40 a. 11 Statement 41 a. Do they not see how do WE get to the land and gradually reduce it from all its sides and outlying borders? b. When strong and affluent communities deny ALLAH, allow corruption to spread and claim that their policies are for public good, ALLAH's Law begins to reduce their power, wealth and general standing. They are confined to a limited stretch of land after having had an extended area of rule and influence. c. When ALLAH decrees a thing that a community and/or a nation shrink in its power, influence and land, there is no power to reverse it or repel it or stand in its way. d. And swift is HIS reckoning. Statement 42 a. And surly those who lived before them also schemed and plotted, but ALLAH is the master of every subtle device. b. HE knows what every person earns. c. And the disbelievers shall come to know in due course for whom shall be the final reward, i.e. the Paradise.
