Statement 99 a. And it is ALLAH who sends down water from the sky clouds with which WE bring forth the buds of every plant/vegetation. b. From these WE bring forth green foliage and packed on one another palm-trees laden with clusters of dates, vineyards, olive groves and pomegranates so similar in some respects and yet so different in some other respects. c. Look at its fruits how they blossom on the trees and when they ripen. d. Surely, in these there are miraculous signs for a people whose belief in ALLAH as a Creator and a Sustainer is firm. Ayah 99 Wahuwa allathee anzala mina alssama-i maan faakhrajna bihi nabata kulli shay-in faakhrajna minhu khadiran nukhriju minhu habban mutarakiban wamina alnnakhli min talaaiha qinwanun daniyatun wajannatin min aaanabin waalzzaytoona waalrrummana mushtabihan waghayra mutashabihin onthuroo ila thamarihi itha athmara wayanaaihi inna fee thalikum laayatin liqawmin yu/minoon 99 Statement 100 a. Yet, despite all these inspiring signs, numerous are the hearts that remain closed and non- responsive and they regard the jinn as ALLAH's equals whereas ALLAH had created them. b. In their utter ignorance, they ascribe to ALLAH sons and daughters: Jews claimed that Ezra was HIS son and for the Christians it was Jesus (09:30). Pagans claimed that angels were HIS daughters. c. All glory and perfection be to ALLAH. d. ALLAH is much too exalted for things they attribute to HIM. Ayah 100 WajaAAaloo lillahi shurakaa aljinna wakhalaqahum wakharaqoo lahu baneena wabanatin bighayri AAilmin subhanahu wataaaala AAamma yasifoon 100 Page 393

Statement 101 a. ALLAH is the Originator of the cosmos, the solar system and the earth from nothingness. b. How could HE possibly have a son, or for that matter a daughter, when HE has no mate? c. ALLAH has created and controlled all things and all beings. d. ALLAH has the knowledge of all things and all beings while the disbelievers' knowledge is based on delusion and guess. Ayah 101 BadeeAAu alssamawati waalardi anna yakoonu lahu waladun walam takun lahu sahibatun wakhalaqa kulla shay-in wahuwa bikulli shay-in Aaaleem 101 Statement 102 a. This is ALLAH, the RABB, Lord Creator of you all. b. There is no being worthy of worshipful obedience and reverence than ALLAH alone. c. ALLAH is the sole Creator of all things, all beings. d. Therefore, worship HIM alone. e. HE is the guardian over everything. Ayah 102 Thalikumu Allahu rabbukum la ilaha illa huwa khaliqu kulli shay-in faoaabudoohu wahuwa AAala kulli shay-in wakeel Statement 103 Ayah 103 a. No mortal power of vision can ever La tudrikuhu alabsaru wahuwa encompass ALLAH. b. Though ALLAH encompasses all yudriku al-absara vision. wahuwa allateefu c. ALLAH is above all visual alkhabeer comprehension. d. It is ALLAH who is the innermost. e. ALLAH is all-aware Page 394

Statement 104 a. To you have come the eye-opener and enlightening signs from your RABB, Lord Supreme, and the light of understanding which provides guidance and points to the Straight Path. b. So, whoever chooses to see the light and understand it does so for one's own good. c. And anyone who turns a blind eye shall suffer the consequences. d. Tell them O Prophet Muhammad: e. I am not a guardian over you to make you see the light and understand it. Ayah 104 Qad jaakum basairu min rabbikum faman absara falinafsihi waman AAamiya faaaalayha wama ana AAalaykum bihafeeth 104 Statement 105 Ayah 105 a. Thus, WE explain OUR Revelations Wakathalika in a variety of ways so that they may nusarrifu al-ayati say: waliyaqooloo b. 'You have studied all this with darasta Jewish and Christian scholars and walinubayyinahu learned it from them. In fact, no Jew liqawmin and no Christian had ever known yaaalamoon anything like the Qura'n. c. And, that WE may make it clearer to those who understand. Statement 106 a. O Prophet Muhammad! b. Therefore, follow what has been revealed to you as the Qura'n by your RABB, Lord Supreme. c. There is no one worthy of worshipful reverence and obedience except ALLAH alone; and d. Turn away from all those who ascribe divinity, in any form and to any being besides ALLAH-the polytheists. Ayah 106 IttabiAA ma oohiya ilayka min rabbika la ilaha illa huwa waaaarid AAani almushrikeen Page 395

Statement 107 a. If ALLAH had ever pleased, they would not have committed themselves to polytheism. b. In any event, WE have neither appointed you, O Prophet Muhammad, guardian over them nor an advocate for them. Statement 108 a. O Muslims! b. Do not abuse those, real or myth, whom they worship and invoke beside ALLAH, c. lest, in their ignorance and excessiveness, they commit rudeness in respect of ALLAH. d. Abusing the deities being worshipped and invoked by the disbelievers would not put them on the course of guidance. e. Thus, WE have made the behavior of each religious community seem pleasing and attractive to it. f. In any event, they have to return to their RABB, Lord Creator, after their death. g. ALLAH would then pronounce to them the gravity of their sinful behavior in the worldly life. Ayah 107 Walaw shaa Allahu ma ashrakoo wama jaaaalnaka AAalayhim hafeethan wama anta AAalayhim biwakeel Ayah 108 Wala tasubboo allatheena yadaaoona min dooni Allahi fayasubboo Allaha AAadwan bighayri AAilmin kathalika zayyanna likulli ommatin AAamalahum thumma ila rabbihim marjiaauhum fayunabbi-ohum bima kanoo yaaamaloon Page 396

Statement 109 a. And they swear by ALLAH with their solemn oath that if a miraculous sign be shown to them, b. they would come to believe with conviction in the massage of the Qura'n. c. Some Muslims of the time suggested to the Prophet, ALLAH bless him, that he may pray to ALLAH to show them such a miracle. Upon this, ALLAH instructs the Prophet, ALLAH bless him, to d. Tell them: e. 'The miracles are only in ALLAH's power.' f. Yet for all you know they would not believe in your Divine Mission and the Qura'n, g. even if miraculous signs were brought to them. Statement 110 a. And WE turn away their hearts and eyes from the Truth of Islam since they refused to believe in it in the first instance; and b. WE leave them to wander perplexed and bewildered in their arrogance. Ayah 109 Waaqsamoo biallahi jahda aymanihim la-in jaat-hum ayatun layu/minunna biha qul innama al-ayatu AAinda Allahi wama yushaairukum annaha itha jaat la yu/minoon Ayah 110 Wanuqallibu afidatahum waabsarahum kama lam yu/minoo bihi awwala marratin wanatharuhum fee tughyanihim yaaamahoon Page 397

Chapter 08 Statement 111 a. And even if WE send down the angels to them; and b. even if WE cause the dead to speak to them; and c. even if WE bring the whole world in front of them, d. they would still not believe in the Supremacy of ALLAH unless, e. ALLAH should will it otherwise. f. In fact, a large majority of them are totally ignorant. Ayah 111 Walaw annana nazzalna ilayhimu almala-ikata wakallamahumu almawta wahasharna AAalayhim kulla shay-in qubulan ma kanoo liyu/minoo illa an yashaa Allahu walakinna aktharahum yajhaloon 111 Statement 112 a. Thus, WE made for every prophet opponents, b. the satanic evil forces among the human beings as well as the jinns i.e. satans be they humans or jinns inflicting harm, hardship, and confusion on their followers. c. They instigate each other with deceitful falsehood. d. However, had your RABB, Lord Supreme, willed otherwise, they would not have done so. e. Pay no attention to them and to whatever vicious falsehood they fabricate. f. Therefore, let them do what they want and ALLAH is able to smite them whenever HE may wish. Statement 113 a. Let those who do not believe from the depth of their hearts in the life after death b. listen to it and be pleased with it. c. They might earn whatever they are earning; and d. Let them persist in their sinful behavior. Ayah 112 Wakathalika jaaaalna likulli nabiyyin AAaduwwan shayateena al-insi waaljinni yoohee baaaduhum ila baaadin zukhrufa alqawli ghurooran walaw shaa rabbuka ma faaaaloohu fatharhum wama yaftaroon Ayah 113 Walitasgha ilayhi af-idatu allatheena la yu/minoona bialakhirati waliyardawhu waliyaqtarifoo ma hum muqtarifoon Page 398

Statement 114 a. Say: b. 'Should I seek a Command from or a source of law other than ALLAH, c. when it is HE who has revealed to you the detailed Book of Law-the Qura'n?' d. The Qura'n clearly and fully explains everything; it sets out an equitable legal basis to settle human disputes in all fairness. e. The recipients of OUR former scriptures, Jews and Christians, know for a fact that, f. the Qura'n is the truth revealed by your RABB, the Lord Supreme. g. Therefore, do not be of the ones who waver. Statement 115 a. And perfected are the laws of your RABB, Lord Supreme, in truth and justice. b. No one can amend, revise or alter ALLAH's laws; and c. ALLAH is the one who is allhearing whatever people talk about HIS laws. d. HE is all-knowing their intentions too. Ayah 114 Afaghayra Allahi abtaghee hakaman wahuwa allathee anzala ilaykumu alkitaba mufassalan waallatheena ataynahumu alkitaba yaaalamoona annahu munazzalun min rabbika bialhaqqi fala takoonanna mina almumtareen Ayah 115 Watammat kalimatu rabbika sidqan waaaadlan la mubaddila likalimatihi wahuwa alssameeaau alaaaleem Statement 116 a. And if you ever happen to follow laws of the democratic majority of the people of this world, b. they would mislead you away from the Path of ALLAH. c. They follow nothing but imaginative idle fancies and conjunctures. d. They are merely guessing; and e. They preach nothing but falsehood. Ayah 116 Wa-in tutiaa akthara man fee alardi yudillooka AAan sabeeli Allahi in yattabiaaoona illa alththanna wa-in hum illa yakhrusoon 116 Page 399

Statement 117 a. Surely, your RABB, Lord Supreme is best aware of those men and women, young and old who are led away from the HIS Right Path; and b. HE also best knows those who are rightly guided. Ayah 117 Inna rabbaka huwa aaalamu man yadillu AAan sabeelihi wahuwa aaalamu bialmuhtadeen 117 Statement 118 a. Eat then of only those meats and/or meat products on which the Name of ALLAH has been pronounced i.e. where the animal has been slaughtered in the Name of ALLAH, b. if you faithfully acknowledge HIS Order below. Statement 119 a. And why should you not eat of those meats and/or meat products, on which the Name of ALLAH has been pronounced, b. especially when HE has made it plain to you what HE forbids you to consume, c. except in circumstances when you are genuinely constrained? d. Surely, most of the people are those men and women, young and old who are misled through ignorance and lack of knowledge and, indeed, by their own consumption preferences. e. Surely, your RABB, Lord Supreme, best knows the transgressors. Ayah 118 Fakuloo mimma thukira ismu Allahi AAalayhi in kuntum bi-ayatihi mu/mineen Ayah 119 Wama lakum alla ta/kuloo mimma thukira ismu Allahi AAalayhi waqad fassala lakum ma harrama AAalaykum illa ma idturirtum ilayhi wa-inna katheeran layudilloona biahwa-ihim bighayri AAilmin inna rabbaka huwa aaalamu bialmuaatadeen Statement 120 a. And abstain from all sinful behavior: whatever is openly a sin as well as whatever is discreet. b. The persons, men and women, young and old who indulge in sinful behavior, shall surely be punished for that they have earned. Ayah 120 Watharoo thahira al-ithmi wabatinahu inna allatheena yaksiboona alithma sayujzawna bima kanoo yaqtarifoon 120 Page 400

Statement 121 Ayah 121 a. Therefore, do not eat any type of Wala ta/kuloo meat and/or meat products on which mimma lam the Name of ALLAH has not been yuthkari ismu pronounced i.e. where the animal Allahi AAalayhi has not been slaughtered in the wa-innahu lafisqun Name of ALLAH. wa-inna b. Undoubtedly, this is sinful as you alshshayateena would exceed the limits of the Divine layoohoona ila Law. awliya-ihim c. And surely, the evil ones among liyujadilookum wain ataaatumoohum you instigate their friends to challenge and argue with you on this innakum law. lamushrikoon d. Should you ever give up and pay heed to them, then, e. you too have set up partners and become polytheist i.e. when you abandon ALLAH's Law, disregard HIS Orders and prefer someone else's law, then you are guilty of associating partners with HIM - 09:31. Statement 122 a. Is the person who was lifeless, to whom WE brought to life, b. and WE made for him/her a light to walk with amongst the people, c. be like the one who is in darkness, but cannot exit from it? d. It is such that the behavior and actions of the disbelievers have been adorned for them. Ayah 122 Awa man kana maytan faahyaynahu wajaaaalna lahu nooran yamshee bihi fee alnnasi kaman mathaluhu fee alththulumati laysa bikharijin minha kathalika zuyyina lilkafireena ma kanoo yaaamaloon Page 401

Statement 123 a. And WE have thus permitted in every community and city the influential from its criminals to contrive and deceive in it: a reference to the power groups who take hostile attitude towards divine faith and inevitably towards those who believe in it and practice it. They conspire with like-minded forces to contain and destroy the believers. The Jewish- Christian-Hindu nexus against Muslims is well known evidence. b. Yet they contrive against no one but their own selvesc. though they may not actually perceive it. Ayah 123 Wakathalika jaaaalna fee kulli qaryatin akabira mujrimeeha liyamkuroo feeha wama yamkuroona illa bi-anfusihim wama yashaauroon 123 Page 402

Statement 124 a. Every time ALLAH's Order is communicated to the hostile groups, they say: b. 'We will not believe in it until we are given the same as what ALLAH's Messengers were given'. c. ALLAH's response is that: d. ALLAH knows best where to direct HIS Messages and whom to entrust with Prophet-hood because it establishes a direct link between ALLAH's Will and a single recipient of his servants. One tribal chief of the Quraysh said to the Prophet, ALLAH bless him: 'Had prophet-hood been true, I would have been more entitled to it than you, because I am older and richer then you.' Another hardened opponent of Islam said: 'We shall never accept Islam or follow Muhammad (Allah bless him) unless we are given revelations just as he receives.' e. ALLAH then warns that HE would belittle and humiliate all such rebellious and criminals; and f. ALLAH would mete out to them grievous punishment for what they had intrigued and plotted against the Message of ALLAH Ayah 124 Wa-itha jaat-hum ayatun qaloo lan nu/mina hatta nu/ta mithla ma ootiya rusulu Allahi Allahu aaalamu haythu yajaaalu risalatahu sayuseebu allatheena ajramoo sagharun AAinda Allahi waaaathabun shadeedun bima kanoo yamkuroon 124 Page 403

Statement 125 a. Thus, if ALLAH wishes to give Guidance to a person, b. and the one who wishes to be guided takes the necessary steps to achieve that Guidance, c. ALLAH then opens the person's heart towards Islam. d. But, if ALLAH wishes to let go misguided a person, e. and if the person ignores guidance and closes mind, then f. ALLAH straitens and constricts the person's heart, g. as though the person was being pushed in to climbing up towards the sky i.e. a state of mind described in terms of a physical condition which combines difficult breathing, stress and exhaustion which accompanies climbing uphill. h. This way ALLAH inflicts suffering on those males and females who refuse to believe. Statement 126 a. And this is the Path of your RABB Lord Supreme: the Straight Path. b. WE have explained OUR Revelations for those men and women, young and old who think and reflect. Ayah 125 Faman yuridi Allahu an yahdiyahu yashrah sadrahu lil-islami waman yurid an yudillahu yajaaal sadrahu dayyiqan harajan kaannama yassaaaaaadu fee alssama-i kathalika yajaaalu Allahu alrrijsa AAala allatheena la yu/minoon Ayah 126 Wahatha siratu rabbika mustaqeeman qad fassalna al-ayati liqawmin yaththakkaroon Statement 127 a. Persons on the Straight Path shall find a home of safety living in eternal peace with their RABB, Lord Compassionate. b. ALLAH will be their patron and provide them with HIS merciful protection as the reward for their deeds in the worldly life. Ayah 127 Lahum daru alssalami AAinda rabbihim wahuwa waliyyuhum bima kanoo yaaamaloon 127 Page 404

Statement 128 a. And ALLAH shall raise all of them on the Day of Resurrection. b. And then on the Day of Judgment ALLAH will say: c. 'O the community of evil Jinns! d. You have seduced human beings in large numbers.' e. But their protégés among the human beings would take satanic temptation lightly and submit: f. 'O our RABB, the Lord Supreme! g. We have lived the worldly life of mutual gain; we made use of one another. h. Now we have reached the end of the appointed term which YOU had determined for us.' i. ALLAH will say: j. 'Fire of the Hell is your home. k. You shall remain there forever', l. but as ALLAH wills i.e. ALLAH's Will is free of any restraining factor. This is a basic principle of the Islamic Faith. m. Indeed, your RABB, Lord Supreme is wise as whatever HE determines for people is based on HIS flawless and perfect knowledge; n. ALLAH is all-knowing. Ayah 128 Wayawma yahshuruhum jameeaaan ya maaashara aljinni qadi istakthartum mina al-insi waqala awliyaohum mina al-insi rabbana istamtaaaa baaaduna bibaaadin wabalaghna ajalana allathee ajjalta lana qala alnnaru mathwakum khalideena feeha illa ma shaa Allahu inna rabbaka hakeemun AAaleem 128 Statement 129 a. And in this manner WE give some of the wicked sway over each other, the jinns and the human beings, as punishment for their misdeeds Ayah 129 Wakathalika nuwallee baaada alththalimeena baaadan bima kanoo yaksiboon 129 Page 405

Statement 130 a. ALLAH will then say: b. 'O the evil Jinn and the evil human beings! c. Did not MY Messengers come to you who were from amongst yourselves, d. conveying MY Commandments to you and informing you of facing this Day of accountability?' e. They would submit: f. 'We testify against our own souls.' g. Their fate is sealed only after they have testified against themselves. h. Indeed, the worldly life deceived them. i. They will testify against themselves that they were disbelievers. Statement 131 a. This is so because your RABB, Lord Compassionate, does not destroy communities and cities arbitrarily without a reason and due warning, b. while the people remain unaware i.e. they are always warned by the Messengers against deviations and disobedience. Punishment comes only after deliberate and repeated denial and rejection. Ayah 130 Ya maaashara aljinni waal-insi alam ya/tikum rusulun minkum yaqussoona AAalaykum ayatee wayunthiroonakum liqaa yawmikum hatha qaloo shahidna AAala anfusina wagharrathumu alhayatu alddunya washahidoo AAala anfusihim annahum kanoo kafireen Ayah 131 Thalika an lam yakun rabbuka muhlika alqura bithulmin waahluha ghafiloon Statement 132 a. And every man and every woman shall have a grade of reward or punishment in accordance with ones own deeds in the worldly life. b. The believers have their grades, one above the other; the disbelievers have their own grades, one sinking below the other; and c. Your RABB, Lord Supreme, is not unaware of what they do and how do they behave. Ayah 132 Walikullin darajatun mimma AAamiloo wama rabbuka bighafilin AAamma yaaamaloon 132 Page 406

Statement 133 a. O People of the World! b. Your RABB, Lord Supreme is selfsufficient as well as full of benevolence. c. HE may wipe you off the face of this world as communities and nations, as and when HE so wills. d. HE may also replace you with whom HE pleases, e. just as HE raised you from the offspring of the preceding generations. f. Indeed, human's existence is not an intrinsic power or a self-determined existence. Ayah 133 Warabbuka alghaniyyu thoo alrrahmati in yasha/ yuthhibkum wayastakhlif min baaadikum ma yashao kama anshaakum min thurriyyati qawmin akhareen 133 Statement 134 a. The promise that is made to you is sure to be fulfilled. b. It is not in your power to defeat it and not to let it happen. c. It is ALLAH who determines your fate and you cannot resist HIS Verdict or escape from your fate. Ayah 134 Inna ma tooaaadoona laatin wama antum bimuaajizeen 134 Statement 135 a. Declare O Prophet Muhammad: b. 'O my people! c. Do all that is in your power, and, d. I shall do the best to my ability. e. You would soon know who is to gain the recompense of the life after death. f. The wrong-doers and the un-just can not triumph. Ayah 135 Qul ya qawmi iaamaloo AAala makanatikum innee AAamilun fasawfa taaalamoona man takoonu lahu AAaqibatu alddari innahu la yuflihu alththalimoon 135 Page 407
