5 BIBLE-BASED & PRAYER FOCUSED 1 Pray that as a church family we will be united in our worship of God, fellowship with one another and ministry to the community. 2 Pray for all those people living in New Mills Yard. Why not prayer walk the street as you pray? Thank God for the money raised during Christian Aid week. Pray for the work of Christian Aid in Haiti. Pray for the Soup Run taking place tonight. Pray for protection over the NCBC team that volunteer. May they feel the presence of Jesus around them as they go out and show love and compassion to those who need it most. Pray for our church leaders as they direct the affairs of the church. Pray that they will lead with heavenly wisdom and that they will continue to seek God together in prayer. Pray for those who are mourning in our church family for the loss of loved ones. Pray that they will experience God s peace and comfort at this time. Continue to pray for the young people in our church family. Pray that they will stand true for Christ in their schools and within their friendship groups. As some sit major exams pray that their minds will remain alert and their memory sharp. Pray that God will protect them from becoming anxious and that they will be full of God s peace and not give into fear. Pray for the children in our church family, that God will bless them and protect them from harm and that they will grow strong in the Lord. Pray for members of the church family who are battling physical illness or emotional struggles or facing spiritual needs. Ask God to minister to them in miraculous ways. Pray for all those people living in Unicorn Yard. Why not prayer walk the street as you pray? Pray for our Connect Group leaders, that they would be encouraged and inspired as they lead their groups. Pray that those who attend would grow in their faith as they study God s word together. Neh 1:4 & chapter 2. When Nehemiah heard the news regarding Jerusalem, he sat and wept. God is looking for people who have a heart for Norwich like that. To bring healing and restoration to our City through the Holy Spirit. Pray in faith for the seeds that are being sown in the Silver Road community. Ask the Lords protection over Paulo and Claudia. Continue to ask the Lord to bless the Open the Book team who faithfully serve in this given opportunity. Pray for their encouragement and that they will see much fruit from their work. Praise God for all the new opportunities Gill is given to share the Lord s love in such a practical way, now that she s in her new position in the office at the front of the church. Every path we travel has a purpose. Let s make sure we pay attention to the signs that lead to a deeper faith.

8 BIBLE-BASED & PRAYER FOCUSED Pray for all those people living in Bucks Yard. Why not prayer walk the street as you pray? Thank God for our musicians and those who do the Sound and Vision as they lead us in worship week by week. Pray that God would draw them closer to Him through their ministry. Every good gift in our day is from God. May we show him our thankfulness through our prayer and worship today. James 1:17 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God s will is His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2. Praise God that He declares us as His children. In times of anxiety and stress, we know that we can look to our Father and know that He s got it all in hand. What peace for us to enjoy! Please pray for the people of Venezuela, where an economic crisis and resulting food shortages are driving an estimated 40,000 people a day into neighbouring countries. The poorest people, including indigenous groups, are most vulnerable. Pray for stability and protection for those displaced. Peru has issued a new law on climate change, the first of its kind in South America. A number of Tearfund's partners and friends have been lobbying for this law, which will benefit vulnerable people as well as the local environment. Praise God for this progress. 24 Pray for all those people living in Indigo Yard. Why not prayer walk the street as you pray? Thank God for our Welcome Team. Pray that all those who come through our doors would experience God s love and welcome into His family. Severe rains have led to widespread flooding in central and southern parts of Kenya. Please pray for over 200,000 people who have been forced to flee their homes. Pray for everyone affected, for protection of livelihoods and homes, and that people will be able to return to their homes safely. Pray for the continued unrest between America and North Korea. May God reign in the situation and miraculous peace occur. Pray for the continued struggles within the NHS. As the Government makes tough decisions about how best to carry on the provision of the amazing privileges we experience from the organisation, pray that it s safety is secured in the best possible way. We still hear reports of terrible abuse and rapes of women in refugee camps. Pray for these women, in their most vulnerable moments, that they will gain strength and have protection from such abuse. A Zambian women s prison has been exposed as having children growing up behind bars as those born of the convicted women whilst in prison. Pray for these innocent little children, that somehow, they would not be scarred by such an horrendous upbringing, and they will be free to live normal lives with their families.
