We are delighted to have you in worship. We ask that you please sign the Fellowship Pad at the end of the pew. For your convenience, we have a warm and loving nursery adjacent to the sanctuary, complete with an available paging system. We also have a Cry Room at the back of the Sanctuary (near the usher s table) on the pulpit side with windows and a speaker so that you can see and hear the service. If you have any questions or need literature regarding the life of Bethany Presbyterian Church, please visit the Welcome Center, located next to the sanctuary. 10 Opportunities to Host Kawiya Visitors that we may be mutually encouraged by each other s faith. Romans 1:12 The personal connections between individuals from our two churches are at the heart of the partnership between Bethany and Kawiya. Hosting a Kawiya guest in your home for a few days is a wonderful opportunity for you and your family to develop a relationship with them, to exchange faith and life experiences and to extend the hospitality and love of Jesus Christ. Host families must be able to provide their guest a bedroom, be available to spend time with them in the evening and provide meals. Group activities will be planned for the day and host families are encouraged to accompany their guest on these outings when possible (around work and school). Hosts must also attend one of the Pittsburgh Presbytery sponsored training session (TBD). There are three hosting periods. Place a check mark in the appropriate box for any period that you are available to host. Saturday, 9/15 (evening) Tuesday, 9/18 (morning) Tuesday, 9/18 (evening) Saturday, 9/22 (morning) Saturday, 9/22 (evening) Tuesday, 9/25 (morning) If you cannot host a Kawiya guest, but would like an opportunity to participate in the partnership visit, perhaps you and your family would like to serve a meal in your home for one or more of the Kawiya visitors and their hosts. Please indicate your interest below: I cannot host a visitor, but would like to serve a meal in my home Name: Phone: Cell: Address: Return to Carl Suppo or Drop in the Offering Plate 10
