Mission of the Month MMA (Medical Missions Aid) The MMA has been working to provide medical aid and supplies for almost 100 years, beginning as part of the Church Missionary Society (CMS). Its focus is on improving health services and education in underdeveloped or emerging nations; showing a practical demonstration of God s Love. Most projects are in Africa or Asia. Current projects include: a disability and rehabilitation service in Nepal (right); reproductive health education, capacity building in hospitals, salary support for doctors, medical help for Bible School students, all in Tanzania. How to support MMA? By donation, leaving a bequest, visiting the Op Shop in Balwyn. MMA: Our philosophy is based on the biblical teaching of God's love and compassion in Christ, and the mandate to the church to care for the poor, sick and victims of injustice. (Source ).
