3 Dear friends, Remember to mark your calendars and to join us for our annual parish BBQ picnic on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. We gather each year as a parish family to thank God for all His marvelous blessings through the intercession of our patroness, St. Rose of Lima, whose feast day we will celebrate the day before (August 23). We also gather to say thank you for all your contributions of time, talent and treasure this past year. Additionally, we use this annual gathering to welcome back all our school families, and especially the new families to our school and parish families. The evening will start with Mass at 5:30 p.m., followed by a free BBQ picnic all you can eat and drink a brief video about some of the things that happened in our parish last year, honoring some of our special volunteers with the Golden Rose Awards, and then an outdoor family movie. So, be sure to bring your beach chairs and blankets to sit on the grass for a good old family picnic and drive-in (OK a sit-in!!) theater.
