To make an appointment, please call the Church Office. Marriage - Couples wishing to be married at either St. Rita or Christ the King must contact the pastor 6 months in advance of the proposed date. Marriage preparation is required by the Diocesan Marriage Preparation Policy. ************************************************ Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers and Ministers of Hospitality are always needed for each Mass. Later, when that particular crisis is over, we quickly forget how God helped us through. The Bible teaches us that God is at work through all the times in our lives, even in ways we do not realize at the moment. The church s word for God s help is grace. Unlike most of our natural resources, the supernatural resource of grace is never in danger of being used up. In fact, the more we use it, the more of it there is! Dignity & Decorum Please, before setting out to church this Summer, ask yourself: Does what I am wearing show respect for where I am going and tell everyone how I feel about this sacred devotion? Every day, the news media tell us of our troubling times: Disharmony in the family -42% of all marriages end in divorce before the 20th anniversary Children suffering -36 % of U.S. children live in poverty Conflict in society Combined violent and property crimes exceed 9 million, annually, in the U.S. The absence of the worship of God only 49% of adults in their 30 s and 40 s believe in the God of the Bible YOUR ASSISTANCE IS NEEDED If you are interested in becoming an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, Hospitality Minister or Lector, we need your help, especially at the 11:00am Sunday Mass.
