3 Dear friends, Last Sunday, Good Shepherd Sunday and also World Day of Prayer for Vocations, was a beautiful day. I want to thank you for praying for all the Priests, Deacons and Consecrated Religious throughout the world who are serving God s people, and for praying for more vocations to the priesthood and the religious life so that God s people will be cared for in the future. I especially want to thank Cliff and Paula Wirtz for organizing our annual Vocation Sunday International Dinner where we raise money to help support the young men and women preparing for the priesthood or the consecrated life. Thanks also to all those people who volunteered to cook their specialty and serve it at our dinner. Everyone who came had a fabulous meal and a wonderful time. I am truly grateful.
