3 Vacation Bible School Our VBS theme this year is: A Radical Ride on the Wings of Prayer Date: June Time: 8:30am-12:30pm Where: MHT Parish Ages: Pre-K (Potty Trained) - 5th It takes a village to make VBS a success & we are looking for volunteers who would like to help us this year! We will need volunteers of all ages 7-12th grades, as well as adult volunteers! Pick up a registration form to sign up your child or volunteer today! If you have questions please call the office at Vacation Bible School Donations As with all programs here at Most Holy Trinity, we are always in need of a little extra help. Father Jeff was recently elected Provincial for the Salvatorians and will soon be departing Tucson for Milwaukee. As a small sign of our deepest gratitude for all he has done for our community we will be hosting a farewell gathering following the 9am mass on Sunday, June 17th. All are encouraged to join us as we wish Father Jeff well on his next journey! Help us, Help them! Each summer we offer Vacation Bible School here at Most Holy Trinity and as with most things in life...it s not free. However, we never turn families away due to financial hardship. We often offer a number of scholarships to those who wish to participate but cannot afford the fees. With that, we turn to you our community and invite you to consider sponsoring a child for VBS this summer. The cost per child is $50. We would sincerely appreciate any amount you may be able to put forth as full or partial sponsorship of a child. Thank you for your constant generosity! Food Pantry Our food pantry was developed to meet the on-going ministry to provide basic food for those in need. We are continually in need of things like cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna, pasta, pasta sauce, juices & canned fruit. Retrouvaille helps couples to show each other mercy through the opportunities it provides to listen, to forgive, to be reconciled and to move into their futures believing that God loves them.

May God Bless You & Keep You Safe! PRECIOUS BLOOD On this solemnity we focus our attention on the Body and Blood of Christ. We listen to the story of the renewal of the old covenant, which Moses sealed by splashing the blood of animals on the altar of sacrifice, as well as on the people. Jesus, whose blood is the blood of the new covenant, shed that precious blood on the cross, saving us from sin and promising us everlasting life. Blood is the life source that courses through our bodies. The precious blood of Christ is the life source for our spirits. Today may we, like the psalmist, offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord, whose Body and Blood strengthen us to bring the Good News to everyone we meet. SUMMER LUNCH MAKERS NEEDED During the summer months June thru September some of the regular lunch makers for Poverello House, a daytime respite house for the homeless, head to cooler places. If you (and a friend) could help by providing lunch for ten to twelve men once a month during those months, it would be much appreciated. Lunches are prepared at your home and brought to Poverello House, 221 E Lee Street, on the morning of your assigned day.
