May 27, 2018 Office Closed The parish office will be closed this Monday, May 28th in observance of Memorial Day. There will also be no daily mass on Monday.

THE RESPONSIBILITY OF OUR FAITH Today is a day simply to ponder the fact that in baptism we were claimed by God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Saint Paul reminds us that, because we received the Spirit of adoption in baptism, we are now children of God. In the Gospel Jesus charges us with the responsibility to make other disciples.

It is also a day to ask God for strength to take on the responsibility of sharing that faith with others.

We will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, May 29th at 8:30am. Thank you for your understanding! The first reading from Deuteronomy prompts us to fix in our hearts the truth that God is the Lord of both heaven and earth and there is no other god. These realities make today's solemnity a day of praise, adoration, and responsibility. It is a fitting day to thank God for the absolutely free gift of faith that we were given in baptism. It is also a day to ask God for strength to take on the responsibility of sharing that faith with others. Vacation Bible School Our VBS theme this year is: A Radical Ride on the Wings of Prayer Date: June Time: 8:30am-12:30pm Where: MHT Parish Ages: Pre-K (Potty Trained) - 5th It takes a village to make VBS a success & we are looking for volunteers who would like to help us this year! We will need volunteers of all ages 7-12th grades, as well as adult volunteers! Pick up a registration form to sign up your child or volunteer today! We are in search of a team of people to take over the decorating of the church. Assistance and guidance will be available. Marriage Help Retrouvaille is a program for married couples who feel bored, frustrated, or angry in their marriage. Some experience coldness and simply shut down. Most don t know how to change the situation or even communicate with their spouse about it. Retrouvaille helps couples to show each other mercy through the opportunities it provides to listen, to forgive, to be reconciled and to move into their futures believing that God loves them.
