The Star of Bethlehem The unfolding of the story of the Incarnation continues today as the Church celebrates the Epiphany.

It has much to teach us about what we can come to expect, even in circumstances and places that may seem insignificant or small.

Yet it is over this seemingly insignificant place that the guiding star stops in its own search for the place where the Savior would be born.

2 The Star of Bethlehem The unfolding of the story of the Incarnation continues today as the Church celebrates the Epiphany. The tale of the magi from the East is one of the most fascinating in all of scripture. It has much to teach us about what we can come to expect, even in circumstances and places that may seem insignificant or small. Bethlehem was a tiny town, what we might refer to today as a town without even one stop light. Yet it is over this seemingly insignificant place that the guiding star stops in its own search for the place where the Savior would be born. Too often we fail to recognize the fact that the star of Bethlehem comes to rest in our everyday lives, where we can experience God s presence, manifested in ever new ways. This will be a Skype meeting with Barbara Heil, our pilgrimage hostess, who will answer questions of pilgrims. This is also the time when deposits of $500 person will be accepted. After January 14, the pilgrimage will be open to individuals outside St. Anne. This pilgrimage, which is filling up quickly, will be a chance of a lifetime, led by our own beloved pastor Fr. Bob Weighner and by Barbara Heil, who has led more than 30 pilgrimages to the Holy Land in her lifetime. Men s Bible Study Extending an invitation to all men who might be interested in growing deeper in the study of Sacred Scripture. The St. Anne men's Bible Study group will convene on Saturdays, at 9:00am, immediately following 8:30 Mass. The group is open to all men age 18 or older. This has been a life-changing program for many St. Anne parishioners! Enjoy a hearty breakfast on Sunday, January 29th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. sponsored by the Knights of Columbus with proceeds going to our Seminarian Kyle to help with his education.
