WELCOME TO OUR PULPIT CHUCK PEEK Charles Chuck Peek is a retired member of the Episcopal Clergy of the Diocese of Nebraska, and former rector for both St. Stephen s, Grand Island, and St. Luke s, Kearney. He also taught for over twenty years at UNK where at one time he chaired the Department of English. Synod School is a special learning and personal enrichment experience for all ages. We seek to create an environment of hospitality, healing and hope. The week is designed for individuals and families, laity and clergy. Classes and activities are available for adults, youth and children some separately, some intergenerational. Daily morning and evening worship for all ages with spirited music and singing. Special convocation, program, and classes for all ages. Opportunity for adults to participate in 1 to 4 classes on a wide range of topics something for everyone. 74 different classes to choose from. 5 MEALS ON WHEELS VOLUNTEERS Members from our church deliver Meals on Wheels on Tuesdays on an every other week basis. Please contact Pat Hild at if you would like to help. It takes an hour to an hour and a half for teams of two people. Join us in this worthwhile mission. March 27 drivers Bob and Sue Wallace, Sandy and John McKirahan, Barbara Stevenson and Barb Friskopp MARCH MINISTRY OF COMPASSION The March Ministry of Compassion will be sponsored by the Board of Deacons. The highlighted organization is the Salvation Army. Their critical needs include: shampoo/ conditioner, shaving cream, feminine hygiene products, microwavable food items, individual serving fruit cups, pop-top canned goods. Non-perishable food items, paper products and cleaning supplies are always welcome, as well. Please bring your items to the church and deposit them in the bin in the Narthex. As the bin fills, the products will be delivered to the Salvation Army. If you prefer, you may donate money to this ministry; be sure to indicate that your cash or check is designated for the Salvation Army. Thank you for serving God, your church and the clients at the Salvation Army.
