2 My dear brothers and sisters, Alleluia! Joy and more joy to you all on this most glorious Feast of the Resurrection of our Lord! What a beautiful Lent we have had. I was so happy with the great attendance at weekday Mass, Stations of the Cross, the Lenten Bible Study, and the many confessions. What a sign of the spiritual health of our parish! God bless you all! With all of our heart we welcome all of our guests with us today! We are so honored that you have joined us for worship on this blessed day. If you would like to know more about our parish, visit our website: stanm.org In our parish we have a wonderful program called ALPHA. Alpha is "Christianity 101". It's a beautiful eleven week presentation of the essentials of the Christian faith, with open and fun discussions. There is no commitment or pressure. And we even feed you dinner! If you are interested in knowing more about God, Jesus, and the Church, then Alpha is for you! Everyone is welcome, and I want to invite you to come. Just show up! Our new Alpha begins this Tuesday, April 3rd, at 6:15 pm in the Parish Hall (the tall building at the back of our parking lot, behind the church. Bring your appetite! This week we are going to take a one week break from our Monday night Bible Studies. Then the following Monday, April 9th, we are going to start a new nine week series, taught by your unworthy pastor. The series is called "You Make Me Crazy"! We all have people who are "crazymakers" in our lives. In this series we will learn the Biblical principles for having healthy relationships with others, and how to deal with people who are difficult or challenging to us. It will be a great Bible study. At 7 pm in Fr. D'Arco Hall, a one-hour class each night The blessed Pascal (Easter) holy water is in the sanctuary. Please feel free to take some and sprinkle your homes with it. This is a beautiful prayer to say when you do it. You might want to gather the family together to pray when you do this. Our Father. Graciously hear us, Holy Lord, Almighty Father and Eternal God, that, even as You protected the homes of the Hebrew people leaving Egypt at the first Passover whose homes were stained with the blood of a lamb, which foreshadowed our Passover in which Christ was sacrificed; so may you in the same manner graciously grant to send your holy angel from heaven that he may guard, foster, protect, visit, and defend all the inhabitants of this dwelling.
