3 Together in Faith Youth Ministry Youth Group and Confirmation Youth Group and the March Confirmation Group will meet on Sunday, January 27th from 5-6:30 at SMM. Summer Mission Trip There are 16 slots for the mission trip to Charleston SC, this summer. It is a first come, first serve basis and is open for the classes of 2019 to 2023 (current 8th graders to seniors). There is a $100 deposit to hold your spot and we will begin fundraising soon. The current plan is to be gone from June 22nd-29th. Please contact Augusta with any questions or to hold your spot. Faith Formation News Lent will be here before you know it, so beginning Friday March 8th the Soup and Bread program will be presented. Be watching for information soon. Speakers will be the Monks from St. Meinrad and one night in April Fr. Dan will speak. A Reminder: FORMED, the APP for the site that both parishes have paid to make available for us is still available. Please check it out and use it! It has Books, Bible Studies, Video speakers, Symbolon and many other opportunities for study or reading or small groups. Simply add the FORMED app and use the code: YWRKXD. "Take a Can of Soup to Mass in February" The Service and Outreach Commission of the Terre Haute Deanery is asking each parish to donate cans of soup for a month to the Brown Bag Lunch Program serving residents at the Garfield Towers and Warren Village. Boxes are located at each church entrance. Thank you for your generosity. The 9th Annual Soup Bowl Benefit will Take place on SaturdayFeb. 2, 2019 at Maryland Community Church (4700 State Rd.46). Seating times this year are 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm. Tickets are on sale now at the Catholic Charities offices at 1801 Poplar Street or online at ccthin.org. Select a unique hand crafted bowl created by local artists and individuals and treat your taste buds with delicious soups, breads and desserts donated by local businesses, individuals and caterers. Tickets are $ The benefit is a collaborative effort by artists, chefs, restaurants, businesses, and student groups. Through a simple bowl of soup, we will highlight the issues of hunger in our community and encourage our friends and neighbors to share their abundance with those in need. All proceeds support the Terre Haute Catholic Charities Foodbank. The training and tools combined with listening to the Holy Spirit will help our Stephen Ministers grow in all aspects. Jerry s Corner REVERSE RAFFLE TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE! Tickets are $100 which includes one dinner. Extra dinners are $30. Extra dinner tickets will not be available for purchase at the event. The Dinner/Raffle is Sunday, April 28 at the Terre Haute Country Club. SILENT AUCTION ITEMS are needed for the Dinner/Raffle.
