4 St. Louis Friends of Birthright 18 th Annual Run for Life and Learning Saturday, March 30 Creve Coeur Lake Join us for a med 6K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Fun Run, and ¼ Mile Kids Run with FREDBIRD. Proceeds enable women who are financially stressed by an unplanned pregnancy to con nue their educa on. On behalf of the South County Missouri Right to Life Committee, Sue Metherd thanks everyone who supported the sale of ProLife Christmas cards this past year. Profits from the sale of these cards contribute to the annual $34,000 cost of the billboard on Hwy 270 and I-55, Reavis Barracks and I-55, and I-55 and Lindberg with our pro life message. As always, my sincere thanks to the wonderful parish response every year to "Keep Christ in Christmas" and proclaim the sanctity of life throughout the year. Jean Flanagan CALLING ALL SHAMROCKS AND SNAKES Many of you may remember that St Elizabeth's students marched for several years in the Metropolitan St Louis St Patrick's Day Parade. The first and fifth grades marched in the very first parade in Later the entire school participated for MANY years. It was a great tradition! Saturday, March 16, 2019 will mark the 50 anniversary of the Parade. The Parade Committee has invited ALL former Shamrocks and Snakes to participate in this special event. They appreciate how much St Elizabeth's has added over the years. I think the crowd would enjoy seeing the Shamrocks and Snakes they cheered for decades. It would also be a fun reunion for St Elizabeth's. Please help SPREAD THE WORD!! Let any former marchers know of the invitation.
