3 High School Youth Ministry News Meet us for coffee on Tuesday before school from 7-8 AM at Java Haute! There will be Confirmation and Lifeteen on October 7th from 5-6:30 at St. Margaret Mary. The Confirmation make up class will be on Wednesday October 10th from 6-7PM at St. Margaret Mary. We look forward to seeing you! (812) St. Margaret Mary Fiscal Year of July 1, 2018 thru June 30, 2019 Pilgrimage to Southern Indiana Monasteries The Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study Class is planning a trip to two southern Indiana Monasteries and they would like to invite the rest of the parish to join us. On Oct. 20, we will leave St. Margaret Mary s parking lot at 8am, traveling to Ferdinand, Indiana, where we will have lunch around 11am. Then at 1 pm., we will tour the Sisters of St. Benedict Monastery there in Ferdinand. Following that, we will travel 8 minutes up the road to St. Madeira Archaic, where we will tour at 2:30 pm. Please note that this change of meeting is due to the the racing schedule. Post time is 2:05 pm! We will plan to depart from St. Margaret Mary at 10:30 am. GENTLE REMINDER TO ALL! This past Tuesday, it was called to my attention that the handicap lift was not operating. Upon investigation it was found that the door on the parish hall level had been damaged with a heavy force. The hinges and frame were bent out of place, causing the door not to open and close. I am imploring anyone using the hall and the lift, to please follow the instructions on operating the lift. If there is a malfunction, please notify the office immediately! The latest repair is going to be very costly to the parish and an inconvenience to all who are in need of the lift. Your co-operation in this matter is appreciated. Jerry Moorman PILGRIMAGE TO FRANCE 2020! As noted previously, 2020 marks the centennial of the founding of St. Margaret Mary, as well as, the centennial anniversary of the canonization of St. Margaret Mary, our patron. As part of this centennial Fr. Dan and I are inviting you to join us on a tour of France and a visit to the home of St. Margaret Mary. Color brochures are now available at the office and on the rack at the rear of the church. This pilgrimage will take us to many of the Catholic shrines in France and to Omaha Beach and the World War II American Cemetery in observance of the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe. All are welcome to join us on this trip. You need not be a member of St. Margaret Mary to experience this trip of a lifetime. See Fr. Dan or Jerry for any questions that you may have.
