Nothing further would be by God until the second coming of Jesus Christ. Revelation is the culmination of the entire story of salvation contained in the Bible. It draws all of revelation to its final goal: the exalted reign of Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords and the fulfillment of the promise of the new heaven and earth. You are invited to join us on Sunday morning, as we explore the who, what, where, when and why of God s Word to us in the book of Revelation. Sanctuary Sundays at 9:45am Pastor Mike Phillips 3
4 SUNDAY MORNING Bible Study cont. Graceland Please join us for the opportunity to study God s Word in a generational setting. This includes, children, parents, grandparents, etc. We dig deep into God s Word and how it relates to our lives as individuals and as a family. Family Life Center Sundays at 9:45am Pastor Eric Majeski Prayer. Does it Make Any Difference? In theory, prayer is contact between us and God. In practice, it s often frustrating, confusing, and mysterious. In this 6-session video study, award-winning author Philip Yancey explores the intersection where God and humans meet, asking-and answering - key questions: Is God listening? What s the point? Can prayer be more satisfying? Sundays at 9:45am Kevin Hendricks LWML MI DISTRICT CONVENTION Women needed to serve as hostesses and ushers for the MI District LWML Convention: Shout for joy to God Blue Water Convention Center 800 Harker Street Port Huron, July 20-22, 2018 The Blue Water, Crossroads & Evergreen Zones are hosting this convention and we would like women from all three zones to help with host at the convention hotels, & usher at the Worship Services. 5 ALTAR GUILD MEETING Wednesday, April 11 at 10:00am here at Grace All women are welcome LADIES 60 + Ladies 60 + Devotional & Luncheon will meet on: Friday, April 27 at Noon Washington Grill Van Dyke Washington, Please call Joanne Nedwick with any questions: TUESDAY MORNING Men s Bible Study In the Early Christian Church, God s people confessed their faith and witnessed to the world in brief creeds such as Jesus is LORD 1 Corinthians 12:3. Passages from Scripture gave believers short concise statements of faith in Jesus as Savior and LORD. Over time, the Church wrote and adopted new creeds to explain more fully the basics of the Christian faith. The Apostles Creed is one of those creeds, expressing in words what God does for us and gives to us. Come and join us as we discover the unchangeable truths that we confess in the beautiful words of the Apostles Creed. I look forward to seeing you there. Tuesdays at 6:30am Pastor Mike SPRING RALLY Evergreen Zone Lutheran Women s Missionary League will hold their Spring Rally on: Saturday, April 21 St. Peter, Macomb Mile Rd, at Romeo Plank (enter door number 1) Registration & Breakfast 8:30-9:00am Closing at 11:30am Guest speaker: Jill Deladurantaye. Jill is the Director of Community Outreach & Evangelism at St. Peter, Macomb and the activity coordinator for the elderly. In addition, Wellness Kits will be made for Lutheran World Relief. Please see flyer located at the Welcome Center for more details. TUESDAY MORNING LIFELIGHT The LifeLight Bible Study is in the books of I and 2 Peter. This study is based on the writings of the Apostle Peter who's figure is so prominent throughout Jesus ministry. These letters are written near the end of Peter s life to Christians living in a culture similar to ours today, and facing many of the same challenges. Please come join us for this study that is sure to be a blessing. We meet at the church each Tuesday morning at 9:30am. Sanctuary Tuesdays at 9:30am Alicia Winget 8 5 Bible studies continued on next pg.
6 WOMEN S THURSDAY BIBLE STUDY Integrity: Living the Truth Is truth an outdated concept? Today it is often considered rude to speak of right and wrong. In such a culture of relativism, we desperately need to be reminded of the biblical value of integrity. These Bible studies invite us to find contentment in who we are and how we follow God as we grow to be people of real integrity. Women s Tuesday Night Bible Study In this small group Bible study, Twelve Women of the Bible, Lysa TerKuerst, Elisa Morgan, Jeanne Stevens and others look at the spiritual lessons learned from twelve biblical women and their implications in life today. This is a deeper study of the Bible's most empowered and iconic women. We look forward to seeing you there.
