Order of Worship January 6, 2019 GOD CALLS US TO WORSHIP from Ecclesiastes 3:1-14; Psalm 135:1-3 LEADER: For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: PEOPLE: A time to be born, and a time to die; LEADER: A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; PEOPLE: A time to kill, and a time to heal; LEADER: A time to break down, and a time to build up; PEOPLE: A time to weep, and a time to laugh; LEADER: A time to mourn, and a time to dance; PEOPLE: A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; LEADER: A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; PEOPLE: A time to seek, and a time to lose; LEADER: A time to keep, and a time to cast away; PEOPLE: A time to tear, and a time to sew; LEADER: A time to keep silence, and a time to speak; PEOPLE: A time to love, and a time to hate; LEADER: A time for war, and a time for peace. LEADER: I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil this is God s gift to man. PEOPLE: I perceived that whatever God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it. God has done it, so that people fear before him. WE CONFESS OUR SINS TO GOD GOD ASSURES US OF OUR FORGIVENESS from Philippians 4:19-20 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his Within Community Community Groups are the main ministry of Redeemer outside of Sunday morning worship. Connect with a community group during the week for great fellowship and Bible study. However, community groups at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, are much more than just Bible studies. These groups are like house churches where we want to live in community with each other like Luke writes about in Acts 2:42-47 because we re a family on mission together. Community groups are where we can learn together as disciples, take care of one another as neighbors, and reach out to our communities in love.
