Order of Worship November 16, 2014 CALL TO WORSHIP from Psalm 111 LEADER: Praise the LORD. I will extol the LORD with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly. PEOPLE: Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them. Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. LEADER: The LORD is gracious and compassionate. He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever. He has shown his people the power of his works. PEOPLE: The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy. They are steadfast forever and ever, done in faithfulness and uprightness. LEADER: He provided redemption for his people; he ordained his covenant forever holy and awesome is his name. ALL: (with a loud voice) To him belongs eternal praise. A nursery is provided on the first floor of the Education building for children up to 3 years. Pick up a kids clip case (black for ages 3-6; blue for ages 7-10) on your way into the service. Return to the baskets afterward. Just before the intercessory prayer, feel free to dismiss your children (3K-Kindergarten) for Children s Church where they ll sing songs, receive age-appropriate, Gospel-centered teaching, and make crafts. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. You are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God s people and members of God s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. 4

Where in the World Bruce and Pam Sinclair serve in Kampala, Uganda, with Mission to the World. They believe the Kingdom of God is advancing and give of themselves to the work of the Lord with passion and faithfulness. Bruce is area director for MTW in Uganda and dean of Westminster Seminary, the only reformed seminary in Uganda. He focuses on church-planting for his students, teaches at a different church almost every Sunday, and teaches Bible education courses to many untrained pastors. Pam teaches speech and communication at a local college and Bible to a large Sunday school class of orphans and poor children. Pray for wisdom as Bruce and other church leaders plan future steps for ministry especially a new opportunity to reach Ugandan military forces. Pray for grace and wisdom as their team expands. 7 MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES INTERNATIONAL THANKSGIVING LUNCHEON: We have another wonderful opportunity to serve international students during their annual Thanksgiving luncheon on Friday, November 21. Pray for this lunch that many new students would be connected with and interested in our English conversation club that we host regularly on campus. 2. Provide a homemade dessert a big draw for the internationals! for the luncheon. 3. Attend the luncheon to help serve food and talk with students and their families.
