2 The Lord s Day November 25, :15 a.m. Greetings and Announcements * The Call to Worship I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:1-2) Prayer of Invocation * Song of Praise Lift High the Name of Jesus Lift high the name of Jesus, of Jesus our King. Make known the power of His grace, the beauty of His peace. Remember how His mercy reached and we cried out to Him. He lifted us to solid ground, to freedom from our sin. Oh sing my soul and tell all He s done til the earth and heavens are filled with His glory Lift high the name of Jesus, of Jesus our Lord. His pow r in us is greater than, is greater than this world. All: That I am not my own, but belong body and soul, in life and in death to my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ. He has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood, and has set me free from the tyranny of the devil. He also watches over me in such a way that not a hair can fall from my head without the will of my Father in heaven; in fact, all things must work together for my salvation. Because I belong to him, Christ, by his Holy Spirit, assures me of eternal life and makes me wholeheartedly willing and ready from now on to live for him. 3

7 WPC Announcements Young Adult Bible Study Tonight: The Young Adult Bible Study will continue meeting tonight at the Watkins home and continue our study of Exodus. Join us at 5:30 p.m. Women s Christmas Party Thursday, Dec. 6: Ladies, join us any time from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lainee Oliver s home. Please bring something sweet or savory to share. Contact Lainee for more information or for her address. WPC Christmas Party and Caroling Sunday, Dec. 16: Join us for caroling and fellowship Sunday, Dec. 16! Please bring heavy hors d oeurves to share. Carolers, look for more information in the coming weeks, but plan to meet early before the party begins at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve Service: Please join us Monday, Dec. 24, at 6 p.m. for a Christmas Eve service in the Sanctuary. TableTalk Bible Reading Plan: For the months of November and December, we will have copies of TableTalk magazine by Ligonier Ministries available as you leave the service after the worship service. These issues provide daily reading if you d like to continue following along a Bible Reading Plan with WPC. VISITORS: We are glad you are here with us today and trust you find us warm and friendly.
