The Radiance Women s Center extends an invitation to everyone to participate in its Baby Bottle Boomerang campaign for Bottles are available today to take home and fill up with coins, bills, and/or checks. Please return your bottles to the church on June 18. Thank you for your support. Ladies, you are invited to join us in honoring Niki Koza with a baby shower on Saturday, June 3, at 10 a.m. in the CBC atrium. If you have questions, please contact Katie at katiesjay77@gmail.com. Looking for a chance to share the gospel and the love of Christ with children? Teaching our 1 st graders in the 11 a.m. Sunday school is one of the best ways to do that. Contact Randy or Evelyn or for more information. All VBS volunteers are asked to attend our informational meeting on Monday, May 22 or Thursday, June 1, both in the fellowship hall. Please plan to attend one of the meetings so we can provide an excellent program for our kids. Prayers for, and deepest sympathy to Chris and Beverly Swan and family on the passing of Beverly s stepfather. My personal application for today is: Thank you for the overwhelming support and love shown to our son Raphael and his bride Theresa Pizeno and their family. 4 VICTORY IN JESUS 2 I heard an old, old story, how a Savior came from glory; How He gave His life on Calvary to save a wretch like me: I heard about His groaning, of His precious blood s atoning, then I repented of my sins and won the victory. O victory in Jesus, my Savior forever, He sought me and bought me with His redeeming blood; He loved me ere I knew Him, and all my love is due Him; He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood. I heard about a mansion He has built for me in glory, And I heard about the streets of gold beyond the crystal sea; About the angels singing, and the old redemption story, and some sweet day I ll sing up there the song of victory.
