2 Welcome to Cannon. We want to help you learn more about our church. We are a large, vibrant community of faith whose vision is to become One with Christ, One with Each Other, and One in Ministry to the Community. We live out this vision by offering multiple opportunities for children, youth, and adults to connect with God, with one another, and with the community, through worship, learning, and serving. Cannon offers three Sunday worship services: 8, 9:30 and 11am. Each service has its own unique flavor: 8am Worship: An intimate worship gathering featuring organ, hymns, and creeds. 9:30am Worship: Enjoy the praise and worship of our Worship Band as they lead our modern 9:30am service. 11am Worship: A traditional style with a full Worship Choir. This service has an informal feel while creating deeply inspiring moments of encountering the holy. Services are for all ages. Families are welcome to experience the worship of God together or take part in the unique Sunday morning worship and small group opportunities just for children and youth through Nursery, Preschool Pals, O Zone, and 11:01 Student Ministries. You are encouraged to try all three services and find the one where you feel most at home. We look forward to welcoming you into the Cannon Church family! *If you are a new guest today, please stop by the Narthex on your way out and visit the Welcome Center. Wednesday Night Live is a full hour and a half with a station/ rotation model developed between the Music and Children s Ministry. An environment has been created where your kids will Explore, Discover, and Grow in their relationship with God and each other. Ages 3 thru 5th Grade. Time is 5:30-7:30pm (Canteen 5:30-6pm). What s new? Our rising 3-year olds will have a separate program of their own with music and movement. It will be a precursor to starting in the choir programs the following year. Come to Cannon for the Caddyshack Game Night for the High School students on August 12. Caddyshack is a progressive game where you go from room to room challenging other teams to get the lowest score. Following Caddyshack, it s on to Battle of the Sexes to complete the night! Dinner will be served, please bring $5 to eat. This is an opportunity for you to see who will be in your Small Group! No registration is required, but this is going to be an event to invite your friends!!! YOUTH SCHEDULE: 11:01 Wednesday Night Sundays, 11am-12pm Live: Youth Center Youth Mid-Week This is a chance for students to Wednesdays, 6-7:45pm discuss questions about God, Students 6th-12th grade are faith, life, and how it all fits invited to join us for supper together. 9 The Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry is a clearinghouse that offers food and monetary support to individuals in need in the Snellville, Grayson, and Loganville areas. In just one month this summer, they have fulfilled 478 food requests. Cannon is active in supporting many of the Co-op's programs, such as Christmas Light and Summer Manna. Cannon also coordinates an annual area-wide food drive and collects nonperishable items year round in barrels located at lower level entrances. Unfortunately, the pantry shelves are depleted quickly -- especially in the summer months. Your generous donation at the communion rail today will help the Co-op continue to provide nourishment and other help to our neighbors in need.
