Members & friends of our congregation who are dealing with spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial problems lift up their burdens. Our nation s leaders & its people. May God grant wisdom & discernment. Our Pastors and their families in prayer. Comfort and Healing for: ~ Kathleen Ballagh had shoulder replacement surgery. ~ LeAnna Gainer had another kidney transplant due to incompatibility with the first transplant. ~ Mary Lou Fink will start chemo again this week. ~ Paul Collagan s mother, Susan, is struggling with cancer and other health issues. Praise Her cancer is not stage 4! ~ Jerrelyn Trujillo is seeking a small apartment. ~ Pauline Castillo s great-grand-daughter was in ICU and is now home. ~ C.J. Cochran was in I.C.U. earlier this last month, she is home and well. ~ Bernie Hawkins', cousin Pastor Everett Ison, who has health problems. ~ Victoria Gandy will be seeing the doctor and may have tests done. Praise God for He is good! We thank Him for hearing our prayers. ~ Eleanor Hughes is home. ~ Betty Lorenz son Mark Oliver had a pace maker put in and is home. TODAY is Music Sunday Our Chancel choir will share some of their favorite anthems from the last year mixed with uplifting scriptures. We have had an exciting year of many new anthems as well as old favorites so the choices were difficult and hope you enjoy the mix. If you are a graduate (or know a graduate) of junior high, senior high, or college we would like to honor you at youth Sunday. BAKE SALE for the UM YOUTH On June 13, Youth Sunday, after both services the youth will be having a bake sale, as is our tradition. This year all funds raised will be donated to our VBS program we are excited to see how God is going to bless this event. Please save your sweet tooth! Come by and support our 2010 VBS program. Donations can be made at the table and are welcome anytime. Two Sunday School Classes Offered Through Summer We are so pleased to see our Children s Sunday School growing that we have added another option beginning July 11th to the 8:30 AM service for our kids. We trust you will spread the word and take advantage of this new opportunity. Combined Service for July 4th In honor of this special day we have a service all lined up with patriotic themed music and décor for our 10:30 AM service with a different format. Come! Sing and worship freely in this blessed land and honor our United States of America as One nation under God. UMC of AG Book by Jean Hubbard is Here!
