Sock Sunday TODAY Many thanks to all of you who brought in socks for the People s Kitchen Crew to take to the needy that they will feed this week. Many there are barefoot, have socks that are thread barren or have holes. If you have socks to donate today, please place them in the sock barrel in the Narthex. Calling all Graduates! If you are a graduate (or have a graduate) of junior high, senior high, or college we would like to honor you at youth Sunday. Please contact Mike and Linda or the church office so we can make sure your name is included in our list of honorees. BAKE SALE for the UM YOUTH On June 13, Youth Sunday, after both services the youth will be having a bake sale, as is our tradition. This year all funds raised this year will be donated to our VBS program we are excited to see how God is going to bless this event. Please save sweet tooth and come by the bake sale table to support our VBS program. Donations are welcome anytime for the program, contact Sarah Barber.

Comfort and Healing for: ~ The Coomb s daughter, Cecelia, brain tumor has returned. ~ Betty Lorenz son, is in ICU at Cottage hospital. ~ Kathleen Ballagh had shoulder replacement surgery. ~ Bodie Bennett is back at the hospital with complications. ~ Joel Anderson s daughter Grace, for life changes. ~ LeAnna Gainer had another kidney transplant due to incompatibility with the first transplant. ~ Mary Lou Fink will start chemo again this week. ~ Paul Collagan s mother, Susan, is struggling with cancer and other health issues. Praise Her cancer is not stage 4! ~ Jerrelyn Trujillo is seeking a small apartment. ~ Pauline Castillo s great-grand-daughter was in ICU and is now home. Praise God for He is good! We thank Him for hearing our prayers. ~ Eleanor Hughes is home. Music Sunday will be June 6 th Our Chancel choir decided to replay some of their favorite anthems from the last year for our 10:30 service, mixed with uplifting scriptures. We have had an exciting year of many new anthems as well as old favorites so the choices were difficult. We hope you enjoy the mix. Some of our favorites include: Halle, Halle, Halle; The Prayer; Glorious Impossible; Majesty; Fly Away Medley; and just a few surprises. See you there! Spend A While on the Nile Vacation Bible School Leadership Roles are unique ways to nurture our children in God s love and grow our own faith in the process. We need ALL ages to be a Egyptian Family tour guides and participants in the weeks events quirky teens and experienced seniors are NEEDED to make this a success! You are never too young or too old to spread the Word of God. So commit to one day or all five...there is a place for you cuz there s lots to do! Reservation begin TODAY in Criswell Hall. Registration is $15 per child/family member (this will include dinner at 5:30 PM). We are so excited for you to join us July from 6 8 PM here in Criswell Hall! DONATIONS are always welcome!
