1 Announcement For the week of A Special Thank You to our Parish Family for making the Lady s Sodality Food Drive a wonderful success with your generous donations of 795 lbs of food in honor of Mrs. Dorothy Bootsie Fonteno. Thank you again for helping our Social Outreach Ministry to help someone else to have a Blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas with all of God s blessings.. Remember: Social Outreach Food Bank non-perishables and can goods donation weekend is the 4th weekend of the month only. Hope for Texas Homeowners! Still Struggling from Hurricane Harvey? See the bulletin for more information. The Usher s will have their monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 20 th at 7pm in meeting room 2. Divine Miracles International Ministries Inc. Gospel Explosion, this Sunday, from 4:00 6:00pm at Our Mother of Mercy Church. Admission is free. Please come out to help us celebrate and enjoy the fellowship. Beau Williams, Gospel Recording Artist will highlight this special celebration. Bishop Guillory is joining bishops across the country for seven day of prayer and fasting. Bishop Guillory has chosen the period from Monday, November 12, to Sunday, November 18, for a time of intensified prayer. The U.S. Bishops general conference will begin this coming Monday. During that time, bishops will be making critical decision regarding the tragedy of clergy abuse. Remember: All Announcements and Bulletin information must be submitted at least 8 days before the Monday of the weekend of publication.

4 INTERCESSORY PRAYERS The Thirty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time, Cycle B Priest: Responding to God s call to sacrifice ourselves for others, we call to mind the needs of the world, especially those of our neediest sisters and brothers. Response: Lord, hear our prayer! For the healing and support of all victims and survivors of clergy abuse, we pray to the Lord. For the conversion and just punishment of the perpetrators and concealers of clergy abuse, we pray to the Lord For the strength for the bishops to be holy shepherds in protecting and leading their sheep from all harm, we pray to the Lord. For the continued guidance of the Holy Spirit upon our priest who are committed and dedicated to tirelessly leading God s people in the Way, the Truth and the Light of Christ, we pray to the Lord. For all veterans, today on Veterans Day, who gave of themselves to serve our country, we pray to the Lord For all who have died, especially, Lucille Tevis Taylor, Demetris Rollins Evans and James Lee Butch Davis, and for the intentions of this Mass, George Polar, Rudolph Antoine, Robert LaBeaux, Jr., John and Ella Barriere, John Poullard, Jr., Hazel S. LaPoint, Jimmie Haynes and Clara M. Chaisson, may they rejoice in the mercy of God, we pray to the Lord...
