3 Opening Prayer 3 In Unison Almighty GOD, we give thanks for those who are entrusted with the responsibilities of leadership, that all nations would, by their example, live in peace, with good will and justice for all. AMEN! Jeremiah 30.1, We are SEATED for THE LESSONS This is the word of the LORD that came to the prophet Jeremiah: I will restore the fortunes of Israel, and rebuild the palace in its proper place. Their king will be one of their own; and he will devote himself to my commandments, so that they will be my people, and I will be their GOD. 1 Peter Psalm 122: In Unison I rejoice with those who say, Let us go to the house of the LORD, for there stands the throne of the House of David. 8 Prayer of Thanksgiving We give thanks for Christ s presence in us. In Unison We thank you heavenly Father for giving us new life, through the Resurrection of your Son; and for feeding us with spiritual food, in the Sacrament of his Body and Blood. Send us now into the world in peace to love and serve you with gladness and singleness of heart: for the good of Saint Mary s, and the joy of your eternal kingdom. AMEN!
